If you are Donald Trump, there are two people on Earth that strike fear through your heart like no one else. One is Melania, because there are secrets she could leak that would not just “ruin” Donald Trump as a president and free citizen, but perhaps even as a “man” who can stand straight and not fall down in humiliation. The other one is, of course, Vladimir Putin, who could find a way to get Trump a polonium scope of ice cream – two scoops – whenever he wanted.

But Vlad has been Trump’s biggest fan, or at least biggest “supporter,” which is different than “fan.” Trump could always count upon Vlad because Vlad could count upon Trump. But there seems to be trouble in paradise. Whereas Vlad could’ve helped Trump’s case against Biden (a bit) today, Putin chose to do the opposite. According to Reuters:

“Yes, in Ukraine he (Hunter Biden) had or maybe still has a business, I don’t know. It doesn’t concern us. It concerns the Americans and the Ukrainians,” said Putin.

“But well yes he had at least one company, which he practically headed up, and judging from everything he made good money. I don’t see anything criminal about this, at least we don’t know anything about this (being criminal).”

But perhaps even worse, Vlad doesn’t appear to be happy with Trump – perhaps because only Trump could have screwed up COVID so badly he’d lose an election – and let Trump know.

Putin also reacted with visible irritation when asked about comments Trump has made concerning Putin’s ties to the former mayor of Moscow, and to an alleged payment made to Hunter Biden by the ex-mayor’s widow. Putin said he knew nothing about the existence of any commercial relationship between Hunter and the woman. Joe Biden says the accusation about his son is not true.

One thing you never want to be to a man like Vlad is a danger, someone who might “talk.” People like that often fall out of buildings.

Donald is not having a good day.
