Pro-Trump Pastor Claims People Will Have Sex With Cows if Joe Biden Wins

Trump-supporting right-wing pastor Frank Amedia has some unusual ideas about what will happen if Christians don’t get out the vote and Joe Biden wins. Should this happen, “animalism” will become accepted in America, meaning that “somebody can marry a cow and have perverse sex with them.”

He’s completely convinced this is going to happen if President Donald Trump isn’t reelected. But Amedia, that Tsunami-stopping pastor who has the power to bring an ant back from the dead, also said God’s planning to rig the election. So maybe we don’t have to believe in all that weird animal sex. I don’t know. Whatevs.

God’s gonna reset the election by doing this, Amedia says, per Right Wing Watch: He’s going to shift polls in some important races heading into the election so that Republican candidates gain five points and Democratic candidates lose five.

And Amedia has been trying to protect President Donald Trump from the get-go, by founding POTUS Shield prayer so he could wage spiritual warfare on those of us who don’t particularly share his loving feelings for Trump.

Thus he turned all fire-and-brimstone about God being on a roll.

“I believe it with all my heart,” he claimed in a video released last week. “I declare it according to the Word of God. I believe it by what he’s already done and what he’s going to do. God has heard the prayer of repentance from this nation and God’s people. He told us the other night while we were praying, five plus five. Well, that’s 10. That’s the number of the Kingdom. And he said, ‘If we just add five percentage points to every state, to every senator, and to the president, and take away five from the opposition, from those who are not pro-life, who are not lined up with the Kingdom of God, that’s 10. Ten is the fullness of God, five plus five.”

Is this guy on some really good drugs? He acts like he thinks this can somehow magically happen when one would think pollsters and analysts might have something to say about this. He also has some interesting ideas about Lindsey Graham’s standing in the polls, as if somehow prayer has lifted him up.

“We declared it over Lindsey Graham, that they were saying was tiltering, even and even,” Amedia told his viewers. “The very next day a poll came out and said he had moved up six percent overnight. Six percent had happened. Well, I believe it’s going to 10. We need to pray it for the president.”

But polls like FiveThirtyEight don’t reflect that, and actually, give Harrison a slight lead over Graham. Yes, it’s a small lead, but it’s a lead nonetheless.

Now it was time for Amedia to change course, which he did by attacking LGBTQ+ people and today’s changing sexual preferences and gender norms. Something that religious right-wingers do far too often. Pretty much the whole world knows by now that right-wing Christians like Amedia love to wax holier-than-thou on this topic but I can’t understand why they aren’t offended by a president who’s incarcerated innocent children in cages, done considerable damage to press freedoms in the U.S., and sat on his hands as a pandemic has killed more than 228,000 Americans and shows no signs of stopping anytime soon.

But that’s not what he’s worried about. No, he’s worried about cow marriage.

“This is about morality,” he told his viewers. “This is about same-sex marriage not being approved and blessed in this country. This is not about us changing genders into five and six meanings now. Even sexual preference has all of a sudden been changed in the dictionary to where it’s offensive. How far do they want us to go? Wait until animalism becomes acceptable and somebody can marry a cow and have perverse sex with them. You think I’m laughing. That’s what’s going to come.”

Well, guess what? I’m laughing. I’ve been writing professionally for 25 years at least, and I’ve heard people like Amedia discuss sex with just about every animal you can imagine, with the exception of maybe an amoeba, or bacteria. They are completely ridiculous to me and I will always call them out for their bone-headedness because they completely mischaracterize a group of people who are being openly persecuted against for no good reason whatsoever.
