Rudy Giuliani’s Daughter Humiliates Father Rudy, Says Vote for Biden to ‘End This Nightmare’

Caroline Giuliani definitely understands what’s at stake in this election, and she’s hoping that unlike her father Rudy Giuliani, who’s Trump’s personal attorney and the former mayor of New York City, voters will turn away from Trump in massive numbers “to end his reign of terror” and “end this nightmare.”

She’s casting her vote for Joe Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris, and in a piece for Vanity Fair, [1] she’s calling for voters to do the same and “elect a compassionate and decent president,” according to CNN. [2]

“I may not be able to change my father’s mind, but together we can vote this toxic administration out of office,” she writes.

This news comes just as The Washington Post [3] reported that the Trump administration received warnings that Rudy Giuliani “was being used to feed Russian information” to the president.

“If being the daughter of a polarizing mayor who became the president’s personal bulldog has taught me anything, it is that corruption starts with ‘yes men’ and women, the cronies who create an echo chamber of lies and subservience to maintain their proximity to power,” writes Giuliani, who’s also supported other Democratic in past presidential elections. “We’ve seen this ad nauseam with Trump and his cadre of high-level sycophants (the ones who weren’t convicted, anyway).”

But that’s not all, Giuliani writes. Trump and “his enablers” use the presidency as a weapon to “stoke the injustice that already permeated our society,” and she also sharply criticized his policies that roll back protections for the LGBTQ community. She also knocked his handling of the pandemic.

These are just a few of the reasons she wants to see Biden and Harris in office, and she praised him for picking her as his running mate. But she also believes Biden can offer bipartisan leadership and progressive views and expressed confidence in his proposals to fight climate change, noting “it is clear that our planet cannot survive four more years of this administration’s environmental assault.”

“In Joe Biden, we’ll have a leader who prioritizes common ground and civility over alienation, bullying, and scorched-earth tactics,” she writes.

Like many of us, she notes Biden wasn’t her first choice for president during the primaries, “but I know what’s at stake, and Joe Biden will be everyone’s president if elected.”

I’ll be the first to admit that I stand firmly behind Bernie Sanders, largely because he supports [4] Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez’s [5] (D-N.Y.) Green New Deal. He was my choice, but that’s not going to happen, so of course, I support Biden. We can’t afford Trump’s cruel behavior anymore and his administration has done nothing to fight climate change. Biden, at least, has proposals to fight climate change and this is a step in the right direction. And after four years of Trump’s lies, distortions, misinformation, and criminal behavior, Biden will definitely be a relief.
