Trump Just Sent Such a Dangerous Tweet About Mail-In Ballots That Twitter is Blocking It

There is a means by which we decide elections in this country.

In every state, there is a position called “the secretary of state.” That person handles all record-keeping for the state. It has two primary functions. First, and the one most used by most people, is that the Secretary of State keeps track of which businesses are registered as corporations, LLCs, whatever. The second, that happens once a year or once every other year is that the secretary of state officially signs off on election results.

In every election this takes weeks. There are late votes to count, there are challenged votes, there are provisional ballots to go through, often there are recounts. It is just something too important to do over a few hours – most adult citizens understand that.

Trump doesn’t understand that.

And note that Twitter immediately blocked the tweet, requiring users to click through to see the tweet.

This is what you see first:

Then you click through and get to the tweet:

Must have according to who? By fiat as stated by the new dictator? Does he have assurances that if ballots are only pulled by machine and a winner declared that night, he wins again – just barely, just like last time, just threading the needle perfectly? It continues to sound like it.

Do you remember, he even compared the matter to a sports game where he said it was all exciting and everyone watched election night? That was certainly true. But of course, as every adult knows, the television stations always said something to the effect of “apparent winner” or “projected winner” or something like that. Yes, every once in a while some language slipped in, “so and so has won …” but still, everyone knew it wouldn’t be official for a while.

There are no big problems and discrepancies with mail-in ballots all over the U.S. For some strange reason, the problems that do seem to make the news are disproportionately popping up in Pennsylvania, a state that Donald Trump MUST win to win the presidency. There is almost no other path to victory for Trump without Pennsylvania, and weirdly, that’s the state we keep hearing about problems.

We have no proof at all that there is some kind of conspiracy, no proof at all that it is being engineered. We do know what the plan will be afterward – if he loses – especially Pennsylvania. He has told us. The SCOTUS must have nine justices in case the election comes down to the SCOTUS – he’s planning on litigating all these problematic mail-in ballots if he loses.

He is telling us exactly what he believes in. He doesn’t believe in the right to vote, and he believes that it’s more important to have a winner on November 3rd (for some reason) than one with all the ballots counted.
