Trump Keeps Finding New Ways to Hospitalize People at His Rallies: Today — Heat Stroke

Yesterday, we saw a few Trump supporters (around ten accordion to the estimation we heard) taken to the hospital due to hypothermia. That incident was due to a rally held outside in late October in Omaha – who could possibly have predicted it was possible – and today Trump went the other direction.

Trump has an issue in that the United States’ idea of democracy is to make only a handful of states important in the selection of a president. Additionally, because Trump won’t survive the media killing he’d get if he held indoor rallies – masks or not – he has to have his rallies outside, whatever the weather might be in the anticipated place. Omaha was too cold.

Today, Tampa was too hot. It was 87 degrees and a reporter on MSNBC described it was the largest Trump rally she had seen in the period since Trump renewed his commitment to self-absorption. The reporter also said that she saw fewer masks today than at any point in the recovery.

According to Rawstory:

Medical personnel provided assistance to supporters of President Donald Trump during his Thursday rally in Tampa, Florida.

Reporters at the scene say that several people suffered heat related ailments.

“It’s hot hot hot at Trump’s large rally. 87 [degrees] and 71% humidity. Have noticed EMTs provide assistance for at least two people in the crowd, one carried out on a stretcher. Staffers trying get water bottles to people but quickly running out and having to restock,” said Emily Larsen of Washington Examiner.

Running out of water? That sounds like a poor logistics issue. How hard would it be for someone to make a Costco run when they figured out a lot of people were coming and it was going to be really hot? Apparently pretty difficult, at least as difficult as figuring out having the Omaha rally in the middle of the day instead of after dark.

These are the people that run our federal government, by the way.
