White Christian Evangelicals Take a Shot at Hip Hop Dancing and the Results are … Blowing Up Twitter

We do not put down spirituality. Whatever it is that moves one to do great work on Earth, however one finds meaning in this life, who are we to criticize? We do not.

We don’t necessarily criticize organized religion except when that religion is organized primarily to A) Make money, B) Promote a political agenda, C) Make more money. We also reserve the right to criticize any religion, Christian, Muslim, whatever, that uses the religion as a justification for misogyny, anti-LGTBQ stances, all that. Otherwise, we don’t criticize “religions.”

Unfortunately, we seem to have run into one of those religions that mix a little of all the above of which we don’t approve, and we ran into them in a way that we dearly wish we hadn’t. Now, everyone’s a little different. Some of us want to hide in a hole, turn the channel, anything rather than see someone embarrass themselves. Some find it the funniest thing one can watch.

We found one of the funniest things one can watch, that’s for damned sure. Why are we covering it on a site dedicated to political news? Well, it is Political Flare, we try to have a bit of elan. But this is also where Donald Trump got his start, in places like this, where evangelicals prayed for a leader like Trump, and Trump in appealing to those evangelicals, may or may not have had pictures of Jerry Falwell Jr.’s wife having sex with the pool boy, which may or may not have led to a quick endorsement of the strongest type. That fact or non-fact hasn’t been established, but it’s sure out there as a question.

Here are some other questions. WTF? And, did they know that a camera was on at the time? Have they heard of the internet?

Umm, why did we do that? We will never get those 30 seconds back – ever. But, come on. You would never have otherwise known such a thing existed, amirite? If you want your 30 seconds back, I urge you to write Nicole, she can do things no one else can.

No we are not mocking their love of God, Jesus, whatever – we are mocking how they show their praise. We believe it was that Jesus guy who said pray in a closet or something. But, we shouldn’t get into things Jesus actually said because a lot of them are highly threatening to the evangelical Christian movement and the Republican party platform, all that stuff about money being unimportant, being kind, those without sin, blessed are the non-wife beaters, shit like that.
