Ivanka Trump Ridiculed for Saying ‘We are Going to the Moon and Mars’ — ‘Can We Help You Pack?’

It’s not uncommon for Ivanka Trump to take credit for things other people are doing, and she did this once again Tuesday by sharing a video of NASA’s SpaceX Crew-1 mission lifting off from the Kennedy Space Center, which is based on Merritt Island, Florida.

“We are going to the Moon soon and Mars thereafter,” she tweeted. “America, and our President @realDonaldTrump, dreams big and shoot for the stars!”

Of course, by saying “we” Ivanka wasn’t actually referring to herself or her family. No, she was referring to the team of astronauts — Michael Hopkins, Victor Glover, Shannon Walker, and Soichi Noguchi — all of whom are making their way to the International Space Station, where they’ll be staying for the next six months, Queerty reports.

And um…we should also mention the Trump administration had nothing to do with this mission.

The Twitterverse was, however, enthused with the idea of Trumps in space after Joe Biden becomes president on January 2021.

Unfortunately, Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner will continue to take up space on the planet since they are planning to move back to New York City, as I’ve reported before, where they won’t be likely to get a warm reception. But all we really need to ask ourselves is this:

After Biden’s inauguration on January 20, do we really care what the Trump family does?
