Ouch! Giuliani Reportedly ‘Shook Down’ Trump Campaign for $20K a DAY to Be Head Lawyer

It is conceivable that there are attorneys out there worth $20,000 a day for their work to certain people with a lot riding on “the work.” This type of attorney is limited to that type that can lift up the phone and make three to four phone calls and get what one needs within 30 minutes and bill an entire day (because that’s valuable work if you’re one of the very few who can do it and no client will complain). Such attorneys exist and every once in a while, the “favors” that they’re asking for over the phone call are even legal … once in a while.

Rudy Giuliani is not one of those attorneys and he damn sure cannot get done what the Trump campaign wants with three to four phone calls. Yet that’s apparently what he wanted!

Multiple sources are telling the New York Times [1] that Giuliani “asked the president’s campaign to pay him $20,000 a day for his legal work,” which set off a rebellion among Trump aides who refused to pay him that astronomical sum.

No shit?

Giuliani tells the Times that he never asked for that much money and called out whoever told the publication that he did as “a liar, a complete liar!”

Yeah, all three to four of the sources are lying.

When asked by the Times what compensation he’s getting for his work, Giuliani claimed that “the arrangement is, we’ll work it out at the end.”

Translation: “I will take what they give me, and it will only be a big amount if I succeed, which I will not, whether I know that or not.”

Rudy, Rudy, Rudy, off to a bad start already. $2000 a day would be generous for “Rudy work” right now and one can find $2000 a day attorneys under every box in an alley.
