In case you didn’t already know that Trump confidante Roger Stone is a conspiracy theory-spouting whackjob, here’s your evidence: Appearing on the Bubba The Love Sponge Show, he’s claiming Democrats are trying to stage a “coup” against President Donald Trump. He also claimed, without any evidence whatsoever, that Democrats are somehow going to steal the election and bring in “armed hooligans” to “burn and loot and rape and destroy until they get their way,” Media Matters for America reports.

Which is kind of like what his dear friend Trump has done. I mean, hasn’t he burned, looted, raped, and destroyed the country? Hasn’t he been directly responsible for the deaths of more than 237,000 Americans? Hasn’t he looted the country to support his lavish lifestyle? And thanks to Trump’s hamfisted mishandling of the pandemic the economic situation in the U.S. is faltering. Former President Barack Obama helped regrow the economy, which had cratered during the Bush era, but now that economy is beginning to slow again.

If Biden wins, Democrats will be too busy trying to rebuild what Trump destroyed to go out with the “armed hooligans.” Really, Republicans have always blamed Democrats for the things they themselves do. And this includes Stone, who claims that the legal system is broken “and if the president is not reelected, the system will never be fixed.”

That’s the only point I’ll give Stone here. The system was broken long before Trump, Obama, Bush, or any of the current living presidents inherited it. But Trump sure as hell didn’t fix it. If anything he made it worse. And I have no solutions either. Things will just continue down this broken road until they can’t anymore.

But Stone isn’t content to leave things at that. He’s out for blood. If Trump wins, Stone has a list of former government officials that “must be tried and convicted of treason” and then “they must be hung from the neck until dead” because of their alleged participation in this supposed “coup.”

Here’s who Stone wants to see dangling from the end of a rope:

• Former CIA director John Brennan.
• Former FBI director James Comey.
• Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper.
• Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.
• Former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.

“They must be hung by the neck until dead,” Stone said. “That’s what the law says. We’re tired of waiting for Mr. Durham. It’s been three years. It doesn’t take three years to prove that a guy stole a car. These people are caught red-handed thanks to that great American Rick Grenell.” 

Tired of listening to this nonsense? Now is your to vote Trump out of office. If that happens Stone will sink just like one. Oh sure, he’ll still be on YouTube somewhere blither-blathering. But we won’t have to listen to him anymore. Make it happen folks.
