There is one shitload of money to be made on the far right. It is a very good thing that we write with our hearts and our generous heads or we could make a fortune writing to the MAGA crowd, getting them all riled up, posting updates on the latest bizarre rumor fro Michigan, and castigating it as obvious evidence that Trump overcame the 150,000 votes by which he lost, indeed, he likely won by three or four hundred thousand votes … probably.
Even Fox, with its evening lineup of Trump supporters and its daytime friendly news hosts, just can’t survive, or survive quite as well, in this new ecosystem. The Trumpers are just moving on – the election proved it. Trump won that f’ing election according to the MAGAs and Fox can’t even bring itself to admit it! Luckily, there are a lot of places for them to go! As we said, there is A LOT of money to be made on the right side of politics, the easiest marks in the casino.
But we can’t go there, instead, we struggle along, trying to put out a real quality product geared to people that want analysis and an occasional chuckle. The pull of money isn’t strong enough, nowhere near it.
For some, the pull of easy money fit right into a receptive world-view, to begin with, and the means to make money off these people certainly didn’t escape their attention. And so they went all in, as far right as someone could go. “Oh, you went Trump won by 2%, we’re going 4%, we’ll always out Trump you.”
Newsmax has this down to an art and has made a FORTUNE over the last two months, even though they just got their start in spring – COVID time. It didn’t matter. They sort of walked along until about September and then it took OFF. Now look! Look who is tweeting a … Newsmax poll!

Actually, that’s not the point. The point is that Trump wants to know whether his base says “go” or not. OR … Trump and Newsmax made it up as a push poll to convince loyal Newsmax watchers to donate.
We don’t know, but that’s one hilarious poll.
