Like most politicians and political-world people, Ivanka Trump sent off a nice little festive tweet for us all on Christmas Day. Of course it was also a humble brag, but that’s nothing new for our dear Ivanka.
Trump, who still currently serves as an advisor to the president (her father), converted to Judaism when she married her husband Jared Kushner, but sent out a festive picture anyway to celebrate the holiday.
The photo is pretty standard. It shows Ivanka, Kusher and their three children, along with Donald Trump, smiling in front of a White House Christmas tree. The caption simply read: “Merry Christmas!” – what could possibly go wrong?
The kids look like they’ve had it for the day, but hey, they are kids. And I might have a similar expression surrounded by the same set of people.

Unfortunately, the tweet was flooded with responses from people who highlighted how the less privileged have had their Christmases impacted by her father’s policies.
The responses are important and you should read them, because they are heartbreaking and from our fellow Americans…who are suffering. The Trumps are shacked up at Mar-a-Lago being waiting on hand and foot. Mike Pence is hitting the slopes with his entire expended family at the Vail Resort in Colorado.
But look at what’s happening here at hime, with our friends and love-ones:
My grandson's friend got nothing for Christmas. His family will be evicted on Dec 31st! They need money for food! And your dad is golfing while this is happening to Americans! The trumps are the worse and most corrupt family ever!

Those poor kids have no idea how treacherously corrupt and universally-loathed the adults are standing behind them.
If they are smart, they will soon change their last names and reject the family mafia.

People are flat-out angry:
I hope you celebrate next Christmas in prison, you grifting bitch.

Yeah, you probably don't want to bring up to the base that you're Jewish. Are the brown kids in cages having a good Christmas? https://t.co/XNPNciEws4 [6]

Many others pointed out that Ivanka’s kids always look so darn sad:
Why do her kids always looks so god damn miserable? https://t.co/AKoefV2NW9 [8]

My heart breaks for these poor children! Imagine having to grow up in THIS family. Their 1 grandpa just pardoned their other 1, a convicted creepy felon. Now this grandpa may end up in jail too, & possibly their parents.

You mean you got your father to pay some attention to his grandkids? Not so many happy little faces there. Just a photo op as usual. We don't cared. Where is there Nanny? She should have been the one in the picture not you. https://t.co/V4iv52hj9w [14]

Why do your kids always look so miserable? Really unhappy. I can only guess…

Those poor kids. This legacy will be a lifetime burden.

Those poor kids. Next Christmas will look very different for them with you and Grandpa Donald behind bars.

This photo makes me sad… poor children. Hope they move away from the family and meld quietly into society as adults.
