If it were any other president, and we include the Bushes and Reagan in this assertion, the relationship between the “First Family” couldn’t matter less. Some zones of privacy should be respected as irrelevant. But Trump isn’t “most presidents.”

He is always the first to take to Twitter and mock anything about other people, real or imagined. He can be petty, and he can be brutal, he has no conscience. Melania? Same thing. She is the hypocrite with the “Be Best” campaign with America’s first bully supposedly right beside her and influenced by her.

Except maybe he doesn’t have her anywhere close to him. Some assert that it’s an open secret in Washington that Trump and Melania don’t live together.

Imagine the endless holy hell raised if Michelle Obama, Laura Bush — or especially Hillary Clinton — didn’t really live at the White House.

Who is Phillip Reines? Well, he is someone who would know, if it is an “open secret” in Washington. He is a former Deputy Secretary of State under Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. It is an allegation that is unconfirmed, we are not asserting it is the truth.

People might say it would be impossible for Melania and Barron to come and go without being seen. Except, if it’s an open secret they could come and go all they want and no media would report on it. Second, there are many tunnels beneath Washington with secret exits into streets, buildings, stuff we’ll never know about. A person could go literally anywhere in the area, and perhaps beyond, if some of the wilder rumors are true, and we’ll never know a thing about the extent of it.

And taking a look at Twitter, it seems many are in on this “open secret.”

However, according to the Whtie House, this claim is “laughable.”

The Washington Post interviewed a number of Melania Trump’s staff, including the first lady’s director of communications, Stephanie Grisham. The rumors are “1,000 percent false,” Grisham told The Post.

“We laugh at it all the time,” she told the paper. The article detailed the first lady’s schedule and how many of her hours are spent at the presidential residence.
