Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene Liked Facebook Posts About Executing Pelosi and Hanging Obama in 2018 and 2019

We have to be very careful here as some platforms do not support using certain words. On the other hand, we do believe we have an obligation to report on certain people who represent very certain beliefs that are most certainly dangerous.

We have had to cover the remarkably ridiculous outsized presence of two new GOP representatives to Congress, Marjories Taylor-Greene and Lauren Boebert. There are others, Madison Clawthorne, for one. The crazy definitely extends well into the new men in the GOP.

This issue involves Marjorie Taylor-Greene, the most “Qanon-friendly” representative in Congress. We need to remember than Taylor-Green, Boebert, and Clawthorne (we can include Hawley) represent the direction the GOP continues to take. With each election cycle, worse and worse in the reddest districts.

According to CNN, via Rawstory:

According to CNN, on a social media post in January 2019 Greene liked a comment that said “a bullet to the head would be quicker” to remove House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Greene liked comments that advocated for exec**ing FBI agents for being complicit in a “deep state” plot in other posts. In one post, Greene wondered when “we get to h**g” Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

Now, would she actually follow through with such actions? Probably not, many of these people – and this is important to remember – are all talk, no action. But not all of them, and that’s just as important to remember. Marjorie Taylor-Greene might not be leading the crowd to violence, but she might be the type that’s in the crowd, unwilling to say anything, tacitly approving of dangerous action.

Even without discussing actual dangers, one might ask how many times you have “Liked” a comment that advocated terminating someone? Most of us made a point of saying that we hoped Trump recovered from COVID. It is called being human and it appears to us that Marjorie Taylor-Greene is having trouble clearing that bar. How many more like her are coming to government as part of the GOP?
