Trump Bootlicker Sen. Tim Scott Says Trump is the ‘One Person I Don’t Blame’ for Capitol Siege

Yahoo News just issued a story based upon a February 8th interview of Senator Tim Scott in which he unequivocally stated that Donald Trump said “go peacefully” to protest and thus Donald Trump bears no blame for the insurrection at the Capitol.

Senator Scott managed to forget the many times that Trump told the crowd that they had to “fight harder” or they wouldn’t have a country anymore. He fails to recall that Trump said he was going WITH the mob. Moreover, the doubts as to whether Trump bore responsibility for initiating the attack, all pale in comparison to what Trump did once the attack was in full bore.

When Kevin McCarthy so feared for his life that he called Trump to do something to get this mob to stop their vicious attack, Trump told McCarthy that apparently, the crowd was more upset with the vote than McCarthy – an unequivocal statement of support for the mob and the coup, as well as an astonishing dereliction of duty in failing to even give a shit that people were in fear for their lives, even tweeting about Pence failing the MAGA cause.

Scott manages to forget all these facts in order to simply say four words in defense of Trump, go peacefully to protest. According to Yahoo News new report:

The Democrats should put the blame where it stands, where it should be,” said the South Carolina senator who has openly supported Trump. “And it does not have to do with the president who said go ‘peacefully’ to protest.”

“The president is simply not guilty,” said Scott. “I was in the chamber when the rioters were coming over. I was taking my jacket off, my tie off, rolling my sleeves up, just in case I had to fight. The chances of me understanding and appreciating the severity of the situation is 100%. The one person I don’t blame is President Trump.”

Senator Scott certainly does understand the dangers they faced, no one ever said that he didn’t. But where Scott stood in the Senate at the time is irrelevant. Moreover, it is much easier to say such a stupid thing when that crowd was not coming to attack Tim Scott. Maybe if Tim Scott was Nancy Pelosi, Mike Pence, Chuck Schumer, AOC, Bernie Sanders, Corey Booker, maybe if he was one of them, he might not be so nonchalant about that attack and who failed to call it off, not “just” who said, “go fight harder.”

Typically disgusting from a pure MAGA, and incredibly disingenuous. Tim Scott is one of the smartest Republican Senators. He is not Ron Johnson. Scott knows exactly who is to blame. He just doesn’t think he can say it.
