GOP Hypocrisy

Devin Nunes Claims Since We Doesn’t See Biden Every Day He’s Being Secretly Controlled

Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) apparently doesn’t have a good grasp of the meaning of the word hypocrisy because he recently suggested President Joe Biden is being “controlled,” even though he, himself is considered to be a Russian asset.

In an interview on Fox News’ Sunday Morning Futures With Maria Bartiromo he had this to say, according to PoliticusUSA:

“The question is we don’t see a lot of Biden every day, of course, nobody is calling him out on what is the schedule and what is he doing, I think a lot of us wondering we did not see this in the campaign, something is behind the scenes controlling and building the narratives out and they put their people out in their mouthpieces,” Nunes said.

Yeah, well Biden’s predecessor was constantly out there making racist, inflammatory remarks, spreading misinformation, and often saying things that were just plain stupid. Biden isn’t perfect either, but he sure isn’t dumb and we can’t say that about Trump. And his mouthpieces, Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Kayleigh McEnany spread all sorts of misinformation.

Nunes is being quite the hypocrite here by suggesting someone is “controlling” Biden, especially since some of Nunes’ House colleagues like Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney (D-N.Y.), are calling him a Russian asset.

“I’m proud that chairman Adam Schiff and those on the Intelligence Committee wrote into law the agencies to issue this report because now everyone can see what I was excited about and the fact is that they were so comfortable using people like Nunes that a known Russian asset sent information to Devon [sic] Nunes at the Intelligence Committee, we had the package receipt and what prompted that appearance on your show was that I questioned him during a hearing, an open hearing, about what was in the box,” Maloney said. “When he had received, the same information presumably that Ron Johnson trying to spread around using the position in the Senate as the chairman at that time of the Homeland Security Committee.”

It’s the height of hypocrisy that Nunes accepts packages and information from Russia but he expects people to believe that President Biden is a puppet. PoliticusUSA notes that Russia has spent months pushing propaganda that claims Biden isn’t in charge. Jason Easley suggests it’s time to investigate Republican politicians like Nunes who have ties to Russia.

Indeed. Republicans like Nunes who do this can’t be trusted because they are compromising national security. Time for them to go.
