There are some of us who are fully vaccinated and want a giant glowing sign indicating such, one that is personally signed by the state’s public health director and the Secretary of HHS. Yes, we presume it would allow the government to know that we’ve had two doses, but we’re not convinced that it would require the government to know that we flew United going to L.A. But if the government must know, some of us don’t care that much. We see the vaccine passport as freedom.
We suspect that the MAGAs actually know that passports will open things up for people who have had the vaccine and shut the doors to those that don’t, and that’s their real fear. They don’t want to be punished for their beliefs. (Outside some condition that prevents it, or religious belief or something). No one has suggested requiring everyone to get a shot, and if that’s true, shouldn’t businesses have a way to be assured that their customers are safe? Let’s put it this way. If there is a passport developed with some sort of privacy protection, we’d love it, because it would free us up to participate in the economy.
Noted political scientist and expert in all things MAGA, Don Jr. believes he’s discovered the ultimate civil rights issue of our time, and no, it is not the right to vote. We bring you the man whose kids had to prove vaccinations to get into school, tell you why you shouldn’t have the means to prove you’ve been vaccinated to get on United, and responses just below:
If you’re a republican in office and you’re not vocally and aggressively opposing “vaccine passports” it may be time to find another career.
This concept could be the greatest affront on our freedoms in recent history and if you don’t see that it’s a problem.

The traitor who helped his dad overthrow our democracy thinks vaccine passports are a threat to freedom. https://t.co/RLNrjhFd2b [2]

You’re a jackass. Vaccine passports are a public health issue especially when dealing with public transport. I have a right to know that I can use it safely. A vaccine passport is. I different than requiring a passport to travel in and out of the country or a drivers license. https://t.co/DyLHBIw5lo [4]

So now you know where the BS about a vaccine passport comes from.
Never an objection from anyone on a document that exists for decades. All of a sudden, because these right-wing populists use it to disrupt vaccination progress, many people yell ‘muh freedom’.

lmao same folks who love telling people "if you don't like it, LEAVE" and "go back to where you came from" are now upset that something might infringe on their ability to travel https://t.co/Wlc2Rv4uSr [14]
