FBI Warned OAN that Russians Might Target the Network in an Effort to Manipulate the Election and They Don’t Care

Propaganda:

Communication that is primarily used to influence an audience and further an agenda, which may not be objective and may be selectively presenting facts in order to encourage a particular synthesis or perception, or using loaded language in order to produce an emotional rather than a rational response to the information that is being presented.

According to the Washington Post, in late 2019, the FBI told Rudy Giuliani and Sen. Ron Johnson that they were targets of a Russian influence operation meant to damage Joe Biden. Of course, the FBI did. Because it’s almost too obvious that both of them are more than willing to be part of that influence operation. Do we know it for a fact? Nope. Do we sense that it’s more likely than not? Yep.

A lot of us figured this out, too:

The warning was part of an extensive effort by the bureau to alert members of Congress and at least one conservative media outlet, One America News, that they faced a risk of being used to further Russia’s attempt to influence the election’s outcome, said several current and former U.S. officials. All spoke on the condition of anonymity because the matter remains highly sensitive.

“At least one.”

Media manipulation is the mother’s milk of the Motherland. There is no conceivable way that the Soviets could have maintained power as long as they did without Pravda. Is it not odd that there is no conceivable way that Donald Trump – the president who never once crossed the Russians – could be president without FOX News? Forget OAN for just a moment and think about just how unbelievably “loyal” FOX was and is to Trump. Ask again, could Trump have risen to the ranks without FOX News?

Is it impossible that someone like Hannity could have been paid off, in threats or in money? No. It is not “impossible.” Do we have proof of anything? No, absolutely not, not a single piece of evidence. But do pay attention, “at least one network.” Is there anything Trump could do that would make Hannity scream in anger? Nope, even in a post-January 6th world, Sean Hannity is still lapping up Trump.

Impossible, you say? The Russians pulled this off:

Just this morning, just this morning, OANN “reported:”

“There were a lot of dead people that voted in the last election,” OAN host Natalie Harp said on the network after the president’s speech.

“If we want to talk about an attack on our democracy, that happened in the early hours of November 4th, when they were bringing in truckloads of ballots,” she said. “That was an attack on our democracy, it — it stole away the right to vote.”

Just try to wrap your mind around how many people might be paid off or threatened into the “undying” MAGA-support and then consider the possibilities, Hannity, Bartiromo, Pirro, etc. etc. etc. all the folks who have not once criticized Trump… or anything Russian. Do we have those facts? Nope. Would all of these people even know it if they were sabotaged? Nope. Is there proof? Nope. We only know that the FBI was in the business of warning those above, and “at least one network.” We presume that the FBI has a lot of better things to do than walk around wasting their time on non-issues.

God help anyone who didn’t heed those warnings because that’s when the word “treason” starts to get thrown around.
