Former Staffer Blasts Trump, Calls Him a ‘Cruel Con Man’ for Tricking Hospice Patients Out of Their Money

Miles Taylor, a former Trump Department of Homeland Security staffer, quoted Trump as once saying that he was happy that the coronavirus appeared. He didn’t have to shake his supporters’ “disgusting hands.” No, he doesn’t want to touch any part of his “supporters.” He wants to shake them down.

The New York Times report [1] about the campaign’s near-criminal (in our opinion) level of deceit has shaken even some MAGAs up, we’re near certain. How does one describe a scheme whereby it is set up to double your donation unless you figure out how to “opt-out” of the double? Or automatic “recurring” payments every week, unless opted out (in small letters)? Of double? The people who set that scheme up had to know two things. First, that Trump would approve. Second, they had to know that they would break some people, more than a few.

Below, one sees MSNBC’s Kendis Gibson say, “One person in the New York Times reporting was a cancer patient in hospice who couldn’t afford utilities or rent,” which sent Taylor spinning and lashing out:

“My mother is a hospice nurse, you see how difficult life is for people at end of life and to raid someone of their money at the end of their life has to add onto that hardship for the whole family.”

Yes, and when they set up the scam, they knew they would be taking money from some people who would be devastated by it:

So, on the one hand, Trump doesn’t want to shake their hands but he wants to raid their pocketbooks. This shouldn’t surprise us because this is who the man has always been; he’s a major league all-star of grifting. A con artist, as my fellow guest noted; promoting Trump casinos, Trump Universities, Trump mortgages, and the Trump administration which ended up being a scam and we know the Trump campaign was a scam.

Taylor suggested that they all sue, just like Trump would do in their place. It seems more than fitting. First, they have every single right to do it, and second, another lawsuit would go a long way toward breaking Trump. The sad part is the hospice patient may not be around to see Trump really struggle with the same issues.

Just awful people.
