Gaetz Feels the Heat: Close ‘Friend’ Joel Greenberg’s Attorney Ready to Strike a Plea Deal

If you’re Matt Gaetz, this is the single last thing you want to hear. Matt’s cohort in [alleged] crime is Joel Greenberg. As co-conspirators, they might both have kept their mouths shut and made the investigation very difficult for law enforcement. But that’s not going to happen. Greenberg’s attorney says that Greenberg will soon reach a deal with prosecutors.

This isn’t the classic game theory “prisoners’ dilemma” that every college freshman college student studies, though both Greenburg and Gaetz can likely sink each other, or help each other by remaining silent. Unlike the classic prisoners’ dilemma, both Gaetz and Greenburg know what the other is or is not telling the cops. Or, to rephrase, they both know whether one or the other is at least talking to the cops.

Thus Matt knows that he best come up with someone a lot better than what Greenberg can offer in order to get a deal for himself. Otherwise, Matt might have to offer up something he knows about a bigger fish…

We don’t know how much Trump might have told Gaetz about anything. We only know that it sounds like Gaetz will be looking deals in the very near future.

Ouch. That makes it sound as though they have the goods on Gaetz. What must be even more concerning to Gaetz is that Greenberg is accused of committing damned serious crimes, crimes that equal trafficking underage girls (Greenberg might have set it all up) in seriousness, and yet prosecutors want to make a deal with Greenberg? Why wouldn’t they do it the other way around, going to Gaetz to get the primary criminal in this entire conspiracy?

Or is Gaetz the primary criminal in this conspiracy? We will find out soon enough but in our experience, the cops turn people down the chain to get to those at the top and we don’t mean the political top. We mean the one who faces the most serious charges. Which makes one wonder, what else might they have on Gaetz?

Whatever it might be, it was no game, this is real life and real people got hurt, especially if a girl was underage.

Peace, y’all
