Idiotic Fox Host Tomi Lahren: I Won’t Get Vaccine and You Can’t Make Me

This isn’t the first time Fox News personality Tomi Lahren has said something daft but it may earn top-ranking among her more bizarre statements. On Monday, in an appearance on the network’s streaming platform, Lahren declared in a nonsensical rant that she will not take the COVID-19 vaccine.

I mean, to be sure, Lahren is regularly logic-challenged and hops on Twitter to post things like this: “To the pro-eternal shutdown cheerleaders, when your favorite government pals start canceling pride parades, we better not hear a peep out of you!!!”

But her decision against being vaccinated against a virus that has killed nearly 560,000 Americans is well beyond nonsensical. The vaccines have been proven to be effective in preventing COVID-19. The Mayo Clinic has good information for anyone who’s wondering about the vaccines and their efficacy.

Lahren, however, seems to be adopting the “superstition good, science bad.” and “you can’t make me do it” viewpoint, Mediaite reports.

“Not one Democrat or Democrat-celebrated health or science official has said the vaccine will end the mask requirements,” Lahren insisted mid-rant. “You know what? I personally will not get the vaccine and I personally will not be forced to get it. If you want to get it, by all means, please do. If you want to wear one, two, or five masks while driving or walking alone, by all means, please do.”

Then she appears to claim the government is trying to force people to take the vaccines. This is of course, completely wrong but at least, in this case, facts are lost on Lahren.

“But how dare the government or anyone else tell me how to live my life or mandate that I take a shot to live and work in what I thought was this free country,” she added. “That’s a no from me dog.”

Clearly logic is not this woman’s strong suit but she upends her commentary by lauding former President Donald Trump for Operation Warp Speed and the development of the vaccine. A number of other Fox News hosts, like Sean Hannity, for instance, have expressed support for the vaccines, but Lahren prefers to go against the wind.

Mediaite’s Aidan McLaughlin notes:

“Lahren said it was a ‘personal choice’ that she will not be taking the vaccine. Her idiocy is indeed a personal choice, and not a surprising one. But that personal choice is not supported by real-world studies, or by the nation of Israel, which has all but conquered the coronavirus thanks to an impressive vaccination effort, or by her own arguments.”

Indeed, Lahren can make her own decisions on these things, stupid or otherwise, even though she’s placing herself and others at risk. She is, after all, a conservative, and this is typically what they do. They don’t care if they hurt others as long as their rights are un-sullied. I wish her well because I don’t want her to sicken anyone else, but I also wish she’d just go away.

Here’s her bizarre rant below.
