Rep. Adam Kinzinger Makes the DUMBEST Twitter Analogy and is Now the Laughing Stock of Twitter

Rep. Adam Kinzinger managed the “Fail of the Week” by Monday, not many noticed until Tuesday. We were a little busy yesterday, what with all the unbelievable breaking news, such that it slipped by us for a day, but we’re not making that mistake again, this needs to be nailed.

We should set out straight right up front that Kinzinger has been known as one of the “good Republicans” who was a never Trumper from the beginning, lost family members over it, and voted to impeach Trump. Given the current state of the Republican party and its lack of interest in governing, it’s somewhat amazing that he hasn’t changed parties. But he was and remains a conservative.

Democrats need to be wary of true conservatives who have no intention of ever voting for any program that we support. Simply opposing Trump is not enough (though it’s a good start). We are not the type of cool Democrats one finds on other sights, often orange sites, that demand hatred of all Republicans for the sake of hating Republicans. There are plenty of other sites in which one can find such an attitude.

But when one runs into a Republican who opposes Trump but supports ending social security, medicare, tax cuts for the wealthy, and insanely conservative judges, not even clarity with respect to Trump can redeem them. But Kinzinger believes he’s found a “third way” in which he can milk money from both sides. It didn’t work all that well. He probably meant to be nice to Democrats but… well…

Sexist beyond words. But let’s try it this way. Democrats – mom, is sane, sober, working two jobs, managing the home and three kids. Dad is not “hitting the sauce,” he’s an unemployed drunk in jail for God knows what, and even if the criminal thing works out in his favor, the medical staff has a psych hold on him anyway. He joined a biker gang to which he’s pledged allegiance.

We would also like to point out that one can reverse the genders and find the same dynamic, some of us can absolutely prove it. Some men are capable of maternal love and support, even for young adolescent girls. +
