This isn’t normal political combat. When AOC says that Marjorie Taylor-Greene is “unwell,” it is actually the truth and quite possibly said with a sense of concern both for AOC and her own health, as well as Marjorie Taylor-Greene’s health. AOC is the ultimate progressive, after all, we doubt she wants to see anyone suffer.

Yesterday, Marj accosted AOC just off the House floor, yelling about supporting terrorists, leaving an exasperated AOC just throwing her arms up and leaving in silence.

But AOC made her comment today only after a 38-minute video emerged showing Marjorie Taylor-Greene stalking AOC on Capitol Hill from February of 2019, before MGT was ever elected to Congress, indeed before MTG had even won a primary. According to Rawstory:

“This is a woman that’s deeply unwell. And clearly needs help. And her kind of fixation has lasted for several years now,” Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez said Friday, as CNN’s Manu Raju reports. “At this point I think the depth has raised concerns for other members as well.”

The disturbing video also shows Greene talking about other members of “The Squad,” saying she wants to speak with Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI). Both Congresswomen are Muslim, and Greene says that “as a woman” she needs to talk to them because they support “Sharia,” and Greene doesn’t want to be forced to “wear a burka.”

In various parts of the video, MTG says:

“We’re going to go see, we’re going to visit, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Crazy eyes. Crazy eyes. Nutty. Cortez.”

We are beyond joking about this because there is only one mentally ill person in this equation and AOC is correct, that person needs medical help and it’s not a laughing matter. MTG looks and acts like a ticking time bomb.

“Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, I’m an American citizen. I pay your salary through the taxes that you collect for me through the IRS because I’m a taxpaying citizen of the United States.”

And now we pay MTG’s salary:

“So you need to stop being a baby and stop locking your door and come out and face the American citizens that you serve. If you want to be a big girl, you need to get rid of your diaper and come out and be able to talk to the American citizens. Instead of having to use a flap, a little flap. Sad.

The sad thing is that enough citizens in Georgia voted to elect this woman over a presumably sane neurosurgeon opponent. We hope that the saner MAGAs in the Republican caucus move on this fast. It is increasingly a public safety issue. AOC is targeted enough, she should be able to do her job without fearing another Congresswoman.
