Conservatives Go Nuts After Their Favorite Poll Shows Biden’s Approval at Record High

Political polls often have bipartisan leanings, PoliticusUSA notes. It’s such a common practice, in fact, that poll-tracking site 538.com handicaps every major pollster by their partisan lead.

Rasmussen Reports is one such example. It’s been assigned a 1.5% mean reverted bias to the right. This pollster is typically very favorable to Donald Trump and it’s one of the few services to ever show him above 50 percent during any time in his presidency.

President Joe Biden, unlike Trump, has spent all of his time in office above the 50 percent mark. And even though Rasmussen typically leans right, on Monday it gave Biden his all-time highest ranking.

The site notes:

“The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 54% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Biden’s job performance. Forty-three percent disapprove.”

That’s not all. The site also tweeted:

“Reader Update: President Biden may be on track for his highest 3-day average daily presidential job approval % of his new presidency. Developing.”

But as you might expect Republican Twitter is displeased with this news. More than a few of Rasmussen’s followers declared the information was false and threatened to quit following the Twitter feed.

Fortunately, for every dim-witted Trump supporter, there’s a Ted Lieu. Or at least there should be. Biden’s poll numbers put him in a good mood and the Democratic lawmaker (California) tweeted:

“From the conservative-leaning Rassmussen poll, these are great numbers for President Biden. Turns out that the American people like a POTUS who is focused on beating the pandemic, creating jobs, and not inciting an insurrection.”

I wonder what Trump is going to do when he finds out? We won’t have to hear him whine about it on Twitter anyway.
