Matt Gaetz Tells Ohio Rally He is ‘Being Falsely Accused of Exchanging Money for Naughty Favors’

It is to the point where we cannot even list all the allegations against Matt Gaetz and get through the many social media platforms that run our articles. For Gaetz, that’s not a good sign. Everyone knows the allegations at this point anyway, even those that don’t involve a minor are repulsive and corrupt, the minor one is the major sick and disturbing one. But Gaetz doesn’t see it this way. Today, Gaetz was again on tour minimizing his behavior, some of which has a ten year mandatory minimum.

But if you ask Gaetz, he didn’t do anything all that bad, it was just “naughty.”

“I’m being falsely accused of exchanging money for naughty favors,” Gaetz said Saturday afternoon at the Ohio Political Summit.

That is wrong. An adult should only use the word “naughty” in two contexts. One, it may be used between the two people involved in favoring each other (and no one else, especially used in speaking to a crowd for god’s sake) and the word may be used to scare four-year-olds into hyperventilation when they color on the wall. That’s it, those are the two instances in which an adult may use the word “naughty.” We also doubt the accusations are false.

Gaetz moved on:

Yet, Congress has reinstituted a process that legalizes the corrupt act of exchanging money for favors, through earmarks, and everybody knows that that’s the corruption.

Keyword being legal, which is why Gaetz is facing serious consequences for one act and not the other. It may be legalized corruption, but legalized corruption is still legal. According to HuffPo, Gaetz made his laughable assertions at yet another rally:

Saturday’s Ohio Summit was another de facto pro-Trump event. Multiple Republicans who have occasionally criticized the former president, including Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine, skipped the event entirely because they knew they would not be welcomed by the crowd of Trump loyalists.

It is worth considering just how far one must be down the MAGA-hole to show up and cheer Matt Gaetz and his references to “naughty” stuff when they all know deep down what’s gone on. But Gaetz is a Trump guy and that means he’s a good guy. It is the only measure among MAGAs. That’s terrifying.
