Stunning New Book Claims Some Trump Family Members Dated Their Secret Service Agents

As much as we might enjoy some of the schadenfreude that could well be coming Don Jr.’s way or just the utterly hilarity associated with the Trump administration’s incompetence in everything, some of the revelations contained in the Washington Post reporter Carol Leonnig’s new book are disturbing, dangerous, and embarrassing to the country, more so than the Trump family.

As everyone knows, the moment Don Jr. became a prominent “MAGA-man,” he dumped his gorgeous and brilliant wife Vanessa – who just happened to also be the mother of his five children (for god’s sake) to pal around with the bouncy, curvy, “talkative” (you know what we mean), Kimberly Guilfoyle. It did not take his ex-wife Vanessa long to find company. According to The Guardian [1]:

In her new book, she writes that Secret Service agents reported that Vanessa Trump, the wife of the president’s oldest son, Donald Trump Jr, “started dating one of the agents who had been assigned to her family”

“Had been” being a keyword. The Secret Service is the most elite protection agency on earth, mostly made up of men, and exclusively made up of good men or they wouldn’t make it that far. A beautiful woman spending that much time with a good man is an extremely difficult situation. And yet… the Secret Service is supposed to guard against such things, even after protecting a person. But the agent did not cross any official rules:

Vanessa Trump filed for an uncontested divorce in March 2018 [2]. Leonnig reports that the agent concerned did not face disciplinary action as neither he nor the agency were official guardians of Vanessa Trump at that point. Leonnig also writes that Tiffany Trump, Donald Trump’s daughter with his second wife, Marla Maples, broke up with a boyfriend and “began spending an unusual amount of time alone with a Secret Service agent on her detail.”

Well… same thing regarding Tiffany, who is even younger and perhaps more susceptible to stuff (perhaps, we don’t want to make blanket assumptions).

But it is Trump who takes the cake. No, Trump did not sleep with any of his Secret Service agents… that we know of, but he did something almost worse. He insulted the people who commit themselves to taking a bullet for him:

“I want these fat guys off my detail,” Trump is reported to have said, possibly confusing office-based personnel with active agents. “How are they going to protect me and my family if they can’t run down the street?”

They are going to protect you by not having to run down the street because they’ve already figured out the threat an hour ahead of time, office personnel or not, or that agent might have seen the threat seconds ahead of time and reacted. Besides, we all know that “running down the street” had nothing to do with it. Donald Trump wanted people who “looked the part” around him or it didn’t look “classy,” no matter how slovenly he looked.

We have noted before, if one is going to treat staff like sh*t, the single last group one wants to abuse are the people assigned to one’s security. Resentments build up (they’re only human, see above), and who knows? Maybe that dedication slips just a tiny tiny bit. Probably not, they are the Secret Service, the best of the best, but it’s still a very bad idea.
