Watch as Ted Cruz Tells MAGA Woman: I Did My Best Overturn the Election

A maskless supporter of former President Donald Trump got up close and personal Friday with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) to harangue him on why he didn’t do more to overturn the election, Mediaite reports.

In a video posted to Twitter by Lauren Webber, creator of the web program The Undercurrent, the woman, sans mask, gets right into Cruz’s face.

“NEW VIDEO: @TedCruz wants you to know that HE led the effort to overturn the election in the Senate… take that, Josh Hawley!”

Coronavirus concerns apparently weren’t on the woman’s mind and she can be heard telling Cruz “wondering why you didn’t do more to fight for President [Donald] Trump on January 6th?”

Cruz told her he led the objections to President Joe Biden’s victory but that the Senate voted it down. The woman wasn’t impressed.

“But you could have done more,” she said. “I know in my heart of hearts that Joe Biden did not win this election.”

At this point, Cruz flashes an uncomfortable look at the camera, then nods and asserted he led the fight to overturn the election.

“At the end of the day, you got to have the votes on the floor of the Senate,” he said.

Then the woman wanted to know what Cruz was doing to stop “Big Tech from silencing conservatives.” One can assume she’s reacting to the decision by Facebook’s Oversight Board to uphold Trump’s account ban.

Cruz continued to do his usual shtick, telling her he is “leading the fight every day” before moving away to take photos with other idiots. Because that’s what people who show up to listen to this clown are. Idiots. He skulked off to Cancun while people in his own state suffered as a deadly storm took a terrible toll.

The fact that this woman turned to Cruz for answers just shows you how gullible some Trump supporters really are.
