Brian Williams is funny. Very funny.
Anyone who has ever watched Williams host a big political event with Rachel Maddow and Nicolle Wallace knows that he can have his co-hosts nearly falling over laughing. Williams is so funny that he does a straight news broadcast at 11:00 p.m. on MSNBC every night and Fox feels the need to have a humorous show at the same point but without the straight news, obviously.
The other thing we all know is that Williams does not like Donald Trump. There isn’t anyone in this country that hasn’t been in Williams’ hilarious cross-hairs more than Donald Trump. Back when Trump was on Twitter, and back when Trump had his own little blog, we could count upon Trump raging out like a child about the latest insult. So god only knows what Trump thinks about Williams’ latest.
Everyone news site on the web this weekend, including us, covered the buzz about a picture that appeared to show Trump wearing his pants on backward. We will let Williams take it from here:
One thing we did move on too quickly is the Trump appearance at the North Carolina wingding in this past weekend. It was, after all, three nights ago. In part because of social media, which makes TV news types seem thoughtful and reflective — social media went wild over Trump’s pants.
Maybe with the help of photoshopping the first theory is they were on backward. It is not body shaming as much as it is a straight-up observation that those pants could accommodate a family of four. Here we are distracted again. It was the substance of Trump’s remarks and the demeanor in that night’s kickoff of the big lie grievance tour that led The New York Times to say that he appeared diminished. And then along came the Lincoln Project with their own takeaway from that very night.
A family of four. Trump will remember that from now until the day he dies and he will rip Brian Williams for that until Williams’ next hilarious slam. As one might imagine, this was fairly popular:
Brian Williams #GiantPants [1] part 2: “The first theory was they were on backwards. Mostly though, they were giant. It’s not body shaming as much as it is a straight up observation that those pants could easily accommodate a family of four.” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣#11thHourShade [2] #TrumpPants [3] pic.twitter.com/wfswi81GNP [4]

#BrianWilliams [8] on Canteloupe Caligula's pull-up pants, "…they could have easily fit a family of four…" His sense of humor is drier than the Atacama; he never disappoints! 😁 #11thHour [9]

It is almost enough to wish Trump was back on Twitter for two hours.
