Chuck Schumer Fiercely Argues for Voting Rights Act: ‘How Despicable is Donald Trump?’

Chuck Schumer is sick of the GOP and the fact that Donald Trump still, to this day, gives it marching orders.

It is critical that the American public, most of whom are sick of hearing about Trump and think that ignoring him is the way to go, understand that even though Trump is out of the White House, he and his demands still stand front and center as the primary topic of the day. Joe Biden cannot, and will not, demand that the Democrats in statehouses across the country create a system that keeps Democrats in power. And yet that’s exactly what Trump ordered his people to do, and now it’s getting in the way of the For the People Act, the voting rights bill currently being blocked in Congress.

It could easily put the Republicans back in power in 2022 despite the fact that they are clearly a party that represents an increasing minority. Schumer described the situation as “despicable.”

He lost an election legitimately. He can’t face that, that it was his failure, and he creates a lie, a big lie, and wins so many people over to that lie with the help of news media and other news commentators who are lying as well, and they know it.

As described in Mediaite:

Schumer said that Republicans defending laws in these states are engaging in “a falsity, a fakeness” when they say it’s about “election integrity.”

Never mind the fact that MAGA supporters throughout the country are increasingly dangerous precisely because they are a growing minority, reason enough to keep an eye on Trump, the entire MAGA movement is about to crater our democracy because Donald Trump had a temper tantrum over the last election. Democrats and Independents better begin to understand that MAGA numbers could plummet even further, below 40% of the people, and yet they will still take power in 2022 (And thus Joe Biden will be impeached, crime or not, in our opinion.) Voting rights are systematically and thoroughly being yanked out from beneath Democrats and there is only one way to fix it, through a majority vote in Congress. Joe Manchin needs to rethink his entire reason for participating in a democratic government.

The Senate has taken up the voting rights legislation this week. People are going to hear a lot more about the MAGAs and Trump in the near future because this will dictate the future.
