Devastating and Shocking: Trump Personally Phoned Arizona Audit Leader Days Before January 6th

The ties between Trump and the attempted coup on January 6th just continue to tighten. We seem to get a drip, drip, drip, every day, and it all points in one direction.

As everyone knows, serious trouble is brewing in Arizona over an absurd “audit” that does nothing more than threaten the future of every election in this country for the foreseeable future. Now, we’re learning that Trump was more involved with the people pushing the audit than ever thought, and was discussing doing something just a week prior to January 6th, and on the same day he met with Marjorie Taylor Greene (among others) at the White House.

As summarized by Rawstory:

“On Friday, the Arizona Senate released to American Oversight more than 500 pages of records related to the sham ‘audit’ of ballots cast in Maricopa County. The records include the emails of Senate President Karen Fann, and were released in response to American Oversight’s public records requests regarding the partisan operation,” the watchdog group announced.

“Fann’s emails indicate frequent contact with Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani and even a ‘personal call’ from former President Donald Trump in the weeks after the 2020 presidential election, as Trump and his lawyers were working to overturn the results.” 

They are particularly focused on a phone call on December 28th:

“I have been in numerous conversations with Rudy [Giuliani] over the past weeks trying to get this done. I have the full support of him and a personal call from President Trump thanking us for pushing to prove any fraud.”

This country needs a very very serious investigation as to what Trump was doing and why during the two weeks prior to January 6th. This seems a little too personal and desperate to be wholly unconnected.
