Sometimes the modern world feels like it is full of an unprecedented level of insanity and that’s become even clearer now that Donald Trump Jr. is offering fans the opportunity to purchase one of his right-wing cray-cray rants on video for the low, low price of $500, Uproxx reports. That video is supposed to arrive in 5-7 days but if anyone needs it faster than that (and why anyone would is a mystery) they will have to cough up $787 for their rush order.

For that kind of price, the video should come with a case of Grand Marnier or Brut Champagne, or I don’t know what. But something fancy and expensive. And who would even pay for this when we can listen to his father rant and rave for free?

And Uproxx notes (hilariously, I might add):

“We’d ask why someone would need such a tight deadline for a recorded shoutout from a former president’s child, but that would imply that we understand why people would want to pay for this kind of thing, which we don’t.”

But when it comes to father and son, this particular apple didn’t fall too far from the tree, and like dear old dad, Don Jr. is also a narcissist, who has generally spouted his bizarre rants free of charge. That same dear-old dad is holed up at Mar-a-Lago licking his wounds over his recently deceased blog and Junior wants us to pay to listen to him rant about Joe Biden stealing people’s hamburgers?

Really?

On his Cameo profile, Junior claims the proceeds he receives will be going to an organization that supports private military contractors. That sounds weird, but then so does this entire story. I’m just glad he’s not using the money to go shoot some more rare animals, so at least that’s a relief.
