As many already know, Donald Trump, for reasons passing understanding, is under the impression that he will be reinstated as president on August 1st.

As to why “August 1st”? One would have to ask him. We can’t find anything in the Constitution about August 1st or even the number of days after January 20th. Trump seems to be under the impression there is some “Just to be real sure” period after a new president is sworn in.

Using the same analytical mind that he brought to the White House, Trump thinks that he’s just four to five “audits” away from “winning” and being reinstated as president. This is, of course, fantasy – and we know it’s fantasy because we spent four years knowing that even if concrete evidence broke that Russians flipped votes for Trump, no one was reinstating Hillary Clinton.

Most people would be embarrassed if they were outsmarted by Lara Trump. Donald Trump will be both humiliated and furious when he hears Lara’s summation on FOX:

“As far as I know, there are no plans for Donald Trump to be in the White House in August. Maybe there’s something I don’t know.” 

It is beyond cavil that there is a lot Lara Trump doesn’t know. But on this one she’s right:

“But no, I think that that is a lot of folks getting a little worked up about something just because maybe there wasn’t enough pushback, you know, from the Republican side, so no, I have not heard any plans for Donald Trump to be installed in the White House in August.”

Not enough pushback from the Republican side? They attempted a COUP! The only things missing were the guns and the only reason they didn’t bring guns is that – though they love Trump – they don’t love him quite enough to get shot or go to prison for life.

But we love that Lara Lee feels free to educate “Ex-President Trump” on obscure constitutional details.
