Only Two of Trump’s Kids Cared to Send Him Father’s Day Messages, and Melania is Completely Over It

It looks like only two of Donald Trump’s children shared Father’s Day messages on social media on Sunday. Trump’s three other children and wife Melania remained mum, People reports. The former President, 75, on the other hand, issued a weird press statement, writing “Happy Father’s Day to all, including the Radical Left, RINOs, and other Losers of the world.”

But two of his kids, Tiffany, his youngest daughter and his eldest child Donald Trump Jr., shared memories of their dad on Instagram and Twitter. Tiffany posted two photos of herself and Trump, writing “Happy Father’s Day, Dad!”

“I’m so grateful for your boundless love, hilarious sense of humor, and for always believing in me!”

Don Jr. shared an image of himself and his father sitting behind the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office.

“Happy Father’s Day dad, and the same to all the amazing dads and father figures out there,” the 43-year-old Trump wrote.

Trump’s middle son Eric and eldest daughter Ivanka were apparently otherwise engaged as was Melania as their father’s day wishes were conspicuously absent. Youngest son Barron Trump, 15, isn’t on social media.

But the gushy tributes to dear old dad by Tiffany and Donald Jr. almost seem to defy reality, especially as noted by Donald Trump’s former personal attorney Michael Cohen in his recent book, where he noted the former president and Ivanka frequently disparaged Tiffany, calling her the “red-haired stepchild.” Ivanka also joined in additional “casual cruelty” towards her younger sister and “jealously guarded her position as Trump’s favorite and surrogate, even at the expense of her vulnerable, younger sister.”

Then, of course, there’s the story told by Ivana Trump, in her 2018 memoir Raising Trump, where she revealed that Trump didn’t want to share his name with his firstborn son.

“What if he’s a loser,” he reportedly asked.

But then Trump himself has previously admitted he wasn’t good father material. He said just as much in a 2005 appearance on the Opie and Anthony Show where he noted changing his kids’ diapers was just “not for him.”

“There’s a lot of women out there that demand that the husband act like the wife and you know there’s a lot of husbands that listen to that … I’m really like a great father but certain things you do and certain things you don’t,” Trump said. “It’s just not for me.”

But then honesty and simple human decency aren’t for him either. It’s anyone’s guess why Tiffany remembers her father so fondly but Twitter users had thoughts about Don Jr.’s tweet above.
