Mike Pompeo Appears to Have Lost a Lot of Weight and Social Media Has Some Questions

Politicians have to court voters. In the same way that someone who has a crush on someone else eats celery and goes for jogs, maybe get a bit of a tan, politicians try to look better, women and men, they’re trying to look leaner, more capable, more handsome, pretty, someone you “want.” They want a date and they’d like to consuma… they wanna win.

Do not tell us that Obama’s looks didn’t help him immensely.

Biden clearly had some surgery on his face and worked out. Trump is the exception, racism and a lot of makeup made him attractive, to some deplorables.

Pompeo was one hell of a big man. Of course, he was in congress, one can be fairly anonymous in Congress. Then he was in the cabinet (jumping through positions) all the way to Secretary of State, one of the four to five most important positions in the country. He was a big guy, but he sort of looked naturally big, and, to the extent this staff talked about it, he looked more confident and comfortable.

Now he’s losing a lot of weight and, generally, there is only one reason, beyond medical conditions. His desire to be loved “outweigh” his desire for pepperoni pizza. So what does he want? He doesn’t want to be in the House of Representatives again. That leaves two possibilities, one makes more sense than the other. He wants to run for the Senate from Kansas (Most likely). The other possibility is he’s already honing his edge – early, for a run at the presidency, and wants to look like a different man.

That would seem to be a good answer because the last Republican guy was an asshole. We have little hope for the new guy. Regardless, it generated some talk on the net:
