Army Officer Says He Resigned Over the Vax Even Though He ‘Had All the Other Vaccines’ Because ‘Freedom’

Given the heavy news week, we missed one of the most illuminating discussions ever heard on Fox News. It happened to come on Hannity’s show on Wednesday night when Sean interviewed former U.S. Army Lt. Col. Paul Douglas Hague, who said he resigned his commission after the Department of Defense mandated service members be vaccinated against Covid-19.

Hague’s wife posted [1] his resignation letter on Twitter earlier this month. In it, he very self-importantly said, “First, and foremost, I am incapable of subjecting myself to the unlawful, unethical, immoral, and tyrannical to sit still and allow a serum to be injected into my flesh against my will and better judgment.”

Keep an eye on that quote, it will become important. He went on to say that the COVID vaccine hadn’t been sufficiently studied, even though the Pfizer vaccine just received FDA approval and we would like to know his definition of “sufficient” because that, too, will become important below.

He proved this to be nothing but a political statement – not medical – by saying that he’s protesting a “Marxist takeover of the military and United States government at their upper echelons.” Marxism is an economic theory about which segment of society owns the means of production, specifically – the workers. He doesn’t know what he’s talking about and his using Facebook language.

Now, keep all the above in mind when reading Hague’s self-important quote, while also knowing that to serve in the military, he was required, whether he liked it or not, to receive a whole series of vaccinations, about ten in all. He did not have a choice. He was not provided literature with how much each had been studied, whether they were out of date, whether it was a Marxist mandate, side effects, nothing.

Yeah, that’s correct, Sean. I’ve spent 18 years, active duty service. I’ve got two years until I’m eligible to pull my retirement. But I don’t want the Covid vaccine and I don’t plan on getting it. But I’ve had all the other army vaccines. I’ve had eight anthrax shots. I’ve had the smallpox vaccination. I’ve had ’em all. So it’s really not about whether or not I’ll get the shot.

Absolutely correct. It is whether or not he gets to make a MAGA political statement.

But this is really about the freedom of the American people, the right to choose your own medical procedures, the right to decide, you know, what’s gonna be injected into your body and what’s not. That’s a natural human right that, you know, we can’t take away from people. And I swore an oath to protect and defend the Constitution which affords those rights to the Americans.

He swore that oath and then he had no choice but to allow them to inject sh*t into his body. He swore an oath to obey all lawful orders, too, and the vaccination one is a lawful order. He is also not a judge and doesn’t get to define which specific rights are afforded Americans in his position.

This is about principle and the freedom of the American people, and I swore an oath to protect that freedom. And I’ve got–the army’s published this recent guidance on how it’s gonna unfold this plan for implementing this. I’ve looked it over. I do believe if I wanted to I could wiggle my way through the next two years and get my retirement, but I would have to sacrifice my personal integrity, and I’d have to turn my back on the oath that I took to protect Americans’ rights. And that’s what I believe this is about. It’s not about me. It’s not about my retirement.

As a matter of fact, it is about him. That’s why his wife posted the letter on Twitter and that’s what he was doing on Hannity. He was taking his best MAGA shot at Joe Biden. No one forced him to put anything in his arm, but to act like all those shots before – which were mandated – were not a Marxist plot, but this one is. It’s nothing but a fck-you to the Commander-in-Chief’s order and it most certainly IS all about Hague.
