FedEx Driver Said He Wouldn’t Deliver to Homes With Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, or BLM Signs

For anyone requiring more evidence that this country is – as described in a historian’s op-ed’s this weekend – in the greatest crisis since the Civil War, we have undeniable evidence that we are falling apart as a united people and it is hard to see an end to the division without a conflict of the type that threatens lives and freedom.

An terminated Fed-Ex employee created a video in which he pledged to service packages to any home (and, presumably, a business) with any sort of Biden-Harris support sign, or a BLM sign. Whether his message is sincere in pledging action or just a statement to be noticed, it still requires us to ask; “Are we a united people? Are we one country?

From our good friends at Mediaite:

FedEx has condemned a former employee… Vincent Paterno, a former driver for the company, was wearing his work clothes when he recently posted a video on TikTok.

The statement on Tik Tok:

What’s up TikTok? Just wanted to come on here and let all you know, if you don’t have a flag in front of your house, and if you have a Joe Biden, Kamala f*cking camel toe posted up in front of your house, Black Lives Matter — I will not deliver your sh*t. I will bring that back to the station and I will keep doing that sh*t. Have a good day.

“Former employee,” the man will have no actual impact on whether something is delivered. This is for attention.

The entirety of the message is offensive but a portion deserves special attention. It hurts, deeply, those of us with daughter, wives, sisters, mothers, co-workers, literally everyone, to hear the special emphasis made to degrade Vice President Harris because she happened to be born female and then worked like anyone to success. He degrades her as a piece of meat to be used as such.

And, of course, the division. We are not a united people. It doesn’t matter that he’s not actually working for Fed-Ex. It matters because a minority of people in this area of land refuse to join our country. They would be irrelevant were they not rigging voting laws and willing to use violence.

This, in and of itself, is just “some guy.” It is, however, also evidence of the two countries currently co-existing, but undeniably separate.
