MAGA Rioter Arrested After Bragging That He Was Just Feet Away From Ashli Babbitt

The consequences for pushing anyone down a stairway are severe. One can cause serious injuries, even death if one hits their head. The consequences for pushing a police officer down a stairway are more severe because you put the officer at the same risk and you surely did so to avoid your own arrest or to commit a different crime. Michael Eckerman of Wichita is about to find out what consequences await him for doing just that on January 6th.

According to the criminal complaint, “… near the back entrance to the House Chamber, where Ashli Babbitt was shot by a law enforcement officer as she attempted to climb through one of the doors where glass was broken out to access the House Chamber. Just after the shooting, video captures Eckerman and his companions exiting the Capitol through the upper House doors at approximately 2:44.”

Eckerman must have been proud of his role since he was talking with an interviewer at a source identified as “FreedomNews.tv,” according to the report. Eckerman made his feelings quite clear.

“I don’t know her (Babbitt’s) name, all I know is we went there as patriots. She is dead because we’re here. These mother f*ckers are traitors, they are f*cking traitors!

Eckerman is accused by an officer of having “made his way to the front of the crowd and pushed (the officer) with aggressive force. The push caused Officer K.Y. to lose his balance and fall down a small set of stairs. After being knocked to the ground, Officer K.Y. was sprayed in the face with a fire extinguisher by an unknown individual.”

As per usual, Eckerman was caught and identified when bragging to a friend. Like anything in 2021, nothing really happened until friends know about it. Read more here, and thanks to our best friends at Rawstory for the quotes.
