There are some of us who have been rather impressed by the speed and aggressiveness of the House Select Committee, which – for Congress, seems to be moving ahead with dispatch. Then there are some who are not satisfied and believe that the committee is dragging its feet.

Perhaps some of us are simply over-encouraged that someone is doing something about it, as opposed to DOJ. DOJ is busy fighting for abortion rights in Texas, which matters, but they should also be fighting the people who were trying to overthrow the government and the people that made it such that Roe v. Wade will be yanked altogether.

DOJ has done nothing (of which we’re aware).

But Rick Wilson believes that the committee is also dragging its feet. Video Below

“We are not hearing from the committee that they are meeting regularly. They’ve had three months and they have done almost nothing. And the fact that they a few witnesses who are grudgingly going to kind of, sort of, sit down with them is nothing until we hold to account the people who are defying them.”

“Unless you put Steve Bannon in the hotseat, unless you put Steve Bannon in an orange jumpsuit, strip him of his polos and put him in an orange jumpsuit and zip ties, this guy is going to run rampant, He was out the other night, essentially telling his followers that Trump will be reinstated.”

“He is one of the architects and masterminds of an insurgency in this country that needs a response more than the kind of traditional Washington ‘let’s go slow, let’s take it incrementally.

“They’re already saying they’re going to wait until Thanksgiving to have a vote on the House floor about referring Steve Bannon to the Justice Department for a criminal referral. This man does damage every day he walks around.

Waiting until Thanksgiving – if true, because we have not read that anywhere else – is unacceptable. The other thing that is unacceptable is that if we are going after the biggest fish swimming in the darkest pools, why is Roger Stone, the man surrounded by Oath Keepers on January 5th, not on that list?
