Melania Trump Scorches Stephanie Grisham for Revealing Just How Horrible She Is

As everyone knows, one must read any post-administration tell-all with a critical eye. The author has every reason to come across as one of the reasonable ones, perhaps regretful while acknowledging that he or she didn’t do enough. The person then often rips the others who worked within the White House.

Grisham’s book certainly fits the mold and yet her book reveals news details that feel trustworthy in context and are entirely consistent with what we’ve seen. There is a balance that seems honest. In an interview with George Stephanopoulos and reported by ABC [1], Grisham admitted that she was a part of this culture of casual lies:

“Yes, I was. And I’ve reflected on that and I regret that. Especially now when watching him, and so many people, push the false election narrative. I now want to, in whatever way I can, educate the public about the behaviors within the White House because it does look like he’s going to try to run in 2024.”

Stephanopoulos challenged her by saying that she stayed until the final two weeks and asked her that if she had those regrets, why she stayed so long:

“Yes, that’s a fair question and it’s a complicated question,” Grisham responded, adding that she was at first drawn to Trump’s ability to attract large crowds and his support among Republicans. But she said that when she joined the West Wing, she “started to see what it was really like and I regretted that decision immediately.”

We cannot help but notice that she stayed on after having “noticed immediately.” It is hard to leave proximity to power. She really didn’t answer Stephanopoulos’s question.

In response, Trump blasted her exactly as we’ve come to expect, backing up Melania’s already forceful rebuke. As always, the person criticizing him is terrible, one who should be ignored, along with a few insults:

The former president has forcefully responded to the latest tell-all book by a former close ally, with Melania Trump’s office saying in a statement, “The author is desperately trying to rehabilitate her tarnished reputation by manipulating and distorting the truth about Mrs. Trump. Ms. Grisham is a deceitful and troubled individual who doesn’t deserve anyone’s trust.”

Always so precious hearing Trump describe someone else as deceitful, troubled, and undeserving of trust. As predictable as a microwave.
