Oh dear, it’s been a while since we’ve discussed the infamous pee tape. But alas, it is back in the news, and this time, it’s Donald Trump’s doing.
Trump has finally publicly confirmed that he’s not into “golden showers”. What a great way to start off your Friday morning.
Yes, really…and he chose to reveal this information to a group of donors at the NRSC conference in Palm Beach on Thursday evening.
In the event you need a reminder as to how Trump and “golden showers” become synonymous, harken your mind back to the early days of Trump’s presidency in 2017, when the Steele dossier, an investigation into the alleged collaboration between Trump’s campaign team and the Russian government, was published.
Amongst the many eyebrow-raising accusations in the report, it claimed that, in 2013, Trump had employed a number of women to urinate in front of him in order to defile the same room that the Obamas had used in the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in the Russian capital. Because Trump is infatuated with Obama…a man people truly love, and someone Trump couldn’t ever dream of emulating.
This story quickly became an obsession for many of Trump’s critics who obviously wanted to find out whether the tape was real as it had supposedly been recorded by the Russian Federal Security Service, a recording that has since become known as “pee tape”. In fact, there is a very convincing fake video out there on the interwebs that purports to show Trump and some women doing what I described above. Take a look [1] if you haven’t eaten yet.
There were also many who simply didn’t believe it because Trump is a well known germaphobe, and despite his hatred for Obama, it would seem odd that Trump would enjoy that type of activity.
In all fairness, there hasn’t been any actual evidence to support the claim that Trump was ever involved in the incident, and after all these years, Trump has decided to put the rumors to bed (haha, get it?).
In a report in the Washington Post [2], which reports on Trump’s continued hold over the Republican Party and the pressure that he has put on them to buy into the “Big Lie”, Trump reportedly told a crowd at the NRSC conference that he’s “not into golden showers.”
Speaking about the investigation into his ties in Russia, Trump said: “It was all phony sh*t, okay. All phony stuff. I’m not into golden showers. You know the great thing, our great first lady — ‘That one,’ she said, ‘I don’t believe that one.’”
She didn’t believe “that one”. Did she believe others though?
I guess it’s good to hear that Melania is at least with him on that one. I’m sure she’s just thrilled he brought it up. Also, Trump referring to Melania as “our great First Lady”. No pal. Our great first lady is Dr. Jill Biden. Melania did nothing during her 4 years in the White House that could be referred to as “great”. Ugh, don’t even get me started.
Also, I’m sure son Barron will have a great day a school today when his classmates hear about this one.
Trump’s speech wasn’t just about the pee tape, thankfully. He also reportedly praised both Chinese president Xi Jinping and Russian leader Vladimir Putin and returned to his longstanding hatred of windmills. He said: “It’s so sad when you see that they are approving these windmills, worst form of energy, the most expensive. You talk about carbon emissions, well they are making them. More goes into the air than if you ran something for 30 years.”
Twitter, who was rightfully grossed out, had some thoughts:
Trump speeking w/ Rs unprompted said “I’m not into golden showers.” He’s really going downhill. His reaction to the GS story is a tell. Comey told him “there’s talk of this video of you.” If it never happened most ppl would say “prove it.” Instead he’s been incredibly defensive

“I’m not into golden showers,” Trump said unprompted and apropos of nothing at a Palm Beach fundraiser.
Confirming what he denies.— Duty To Warn 🔉 (@duty2warn) October 15, 2021 [4]
(PS) As a side note, Trump is now in his fifth year of deliberately misstating the allegation regarding the Moscow Ritz, which had nothing to do with sex or golden showers but simply asking women to defile a bed Obama had slept in—exactly something the germaphobe Trump would do.

Who amongst us hasn’t had our wife confirm at a business dinner that her husband does not indeed like to peed on. https://t.co/yueZSRCAOI [6]

Trump volunteers that he's "not into golden showers" … But we know he lies about everything.

One thing for @NRSC [9] to send out fundraising emails using Trump’s name
But inviting him to a fundraiser where he discusses golden showers is really maximizing the humiliation https://t.co/oKvGOIsCjv [10]

Confessing unprompted you were not into Golden Showers when nobody asked you if you were is a strange way to demonstrate dominance.
Knowing how often trump lies it's likely a confession that he in fact likes to be dominated and humiliated by women pissing on him. #PeeBoyTrump [12] https://t.co/UoglRMQHbX [13]
