Eric Trump Told Chris Christie on Election Night That Trump Already Had Evidence of Voter Fraud

Chris Christie was an avid supporter of Donald Trump in the beginning, but when the former president started to claim election fraud, he quickly changed his tune. In his new book, he reveals that during the night of the election, Trump’s son Eric texted him telling him that proof of election fraud would be “popping up.”

In the book, Christie discusses his own reaction when Trump declared himself victorious in the 2020 election and spouted lies about voter fraud before all the votes were even counted.

Christie said it made him physically sick to see it, and he was not quiet about his discomfort. He was very vocal on the news about his outrage, which is what prompted Eric Trump to text him with the false reassurance that evidence would soon arise if Christie would only watch out for it.

To be more accurate, in his book Christie called Trump’s premature speech on election night, “one of the most dangerous pieces of political rhetoric I have ever heard in my life.” While many others agree with that statement, it is no secret that those who go against  Trump will be quickly bombarded by his followers, his family, and even Trump himself.

Christie is a contributor on ABC News and was on the election night coverage panel with George Stephanopoulos during the time of the election, when he expressed his concern with Trump’s dialogue. He said that after he spoke, he received the text from Eric during the next commercial break, and Trump’s son claimed he was a “straight shooter” and that the evidence of voter fraud would soon show up.
