MAGA Sen. Blackburn Demands Biden Apologize for Calling Fox News Reporter’s Question ‘Stupid’

We should all agree to one thing. President Joe Biden should stop uttering comments in response to reporters as he heads out the door. It seems to us that every time Biden has said something that was probably best left unsaid, it occurred when he was on his way out the door.

Biden said something a president shouldn’t say, no matter how true it might be. Apparently, as Biden was leaving his long press conference, Fox Reporter Jacqui Heinrich asked him why was he waiting for Putin to make the first move in the situation with Russia and Ukraine.

Now, that is a pretty stupid question. It is loaded with an agenda, wanting to make Biden look “weak” by waiting until Putin does what he wants. First of all, Biden could easily have made 20 moves already that are held secret and will continue to be held secret, second, making a “first move” (a public one) in such a situation could light the fire that Biden’s trying to avoid.

So it was a stupid question. But that doesn’t make it smart for Biden to answer by saying “What a stupid question.” It is the perfect answer for a boss to give an annoying underling who won’t leave her alone, it’s a bad answer for the President of the United States.

Of course, irony alert. Suddenly, Sen. Marsha Blackburn is incredibly offended by Biden’s “offensive” answer to Jacqui (It wasn’t offensive, it was just dumb to say). We don’t recall Blackburn demanding that Trump apologize to all the women he demeaned with far more aggressive answers:

We all still remember the things Trump said to reporters, Except Trump would do it with far more anger and to questions asked during the actual press conference.

As a bit of a reminder, we supply some of Trump’s greatest/worst hits against just Yamiche Alcindor, knowing he insulted and demeaned many other reporters. Blackburn remained silent, a good MAGA.

It doesn’t mean that Biden should’ve just kept his mouth shut. But another key difference between Trump and Biden? Blackburn might well get her wish. President Biden may very well send a note apologizing. Regardless, the hypocrisy is overwhelming.
