Jim Jordan Appears to be Inciting Protests Outside Justice Sotomayor’s Home and People are FURIOUS

After the draft Supreme Court opinion overturning Roe v. Wade was leaked, the conservative justices who formed it found themselves the target of anger across America.

Many of them have even had protesters outside their homes.

Ohio Representative Jim Jordan on Wednesday discovered that people are not kidding. After he tweeted that he basically thinks the media is behind public outrage, he got torn apart on Twitter. He said:

Can you imagine the media outrage if protestors were outside Justice Sotomayor’s house?

Responses absolutely blew up. And with good reason. Sonia Sotomayor isn’t one of the justices behind the opinion that has sparked national uprisings in city after city.

Here’s the scary protest that GOPers like Jim Jordan are freaking out about.

The fact is that when Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett underwent the confirmation process, they flatly denied that they would try to overturn the 49-year-old legal precedent.

They lied to the Senate and lied to America.

One tweeter said,

Are you kidding me? If Justice Sotomayor lied to Congress in the manner that these other Justices did I would be outside her house with a sign too!

Another said,

Justice Sotomayor isn’t stripping the right to privacy from millions of Americans.

Yet another Twitter user shot back with sarcasm:

I heard Justice Sotomayor wants to pass a bill making all men get a vasectomy, unless their wife signs a statement to excuse them. She also wants to outlaw Viagra.

But perhaps the best response of all was from user @djoretiree, who said,

Can you imagine the media and Republican outrage if Justice Sotomayor’s husband staged an insurrection to steal a presidency from a Republican like Ginni Thomas did?

Mind you, anti-choice protesters are out on front of Alito’s house as well. No complaints about them though?

Sotomayor herself has begun to question the very legitimacy of the institution. As the right-wingers have packed the court and issued increasingly conservative decisions, she wondered last year, “Will this institution survive the stench that this creates in the public perception that the Constitution and its reading are just political acts? I don’t see how it is possible.”

We don’t see how, either.

It also seems Jordan is inciting protestors to go to Sotomayor’s house, which is disgusting of course. She is trying to take away the rights of every woman in this country.
