REPORT: Musk Has Lost $129 Billion in Six Months, Gone Full MAGA and is Now Locked Into Overpaying for Horrible Twitter Deal

In a report two days ago, we had asked whether anyone had ever fallen in stature farther and faster than Elon Musk, and we noted at the time that all this corresponds with a dramatic financial hit. But no one had numbers on him. Today, Bloomberg brings us the number, and it appears that Musk has lost a whopping $129 Billion since last November.

Even more astounding is the fact that Elon’s impulse Twitter buy was so impulsive that it’s a little hard to believe that someone that “brilliant” would do it. It is also hard to believe he doesn’t pay two to three very smart and discerning people to accompany him as a “body man” with the legal right to take his phone and slam it into the pavement or put him in handcuffs if necessary, to keep him from doing something so obviously stupid. I would pay someone to save me from myself if I was the richest person on Earth.

Elon’s single biggest problem is that he’s just aligned himself with what is, at best, 42% of the population in the United States and not the wealthiest 42%, either, nor the most concerned about the future of the globe. He has taken a massive PR hit and his only reaction has been to dig deeper and further burrow into his new MAGA hole.

Analysts have speculated that Elon Musk is either trying to wiggle out of the Twitter deal altogether or cut the price.

Meanwhile, he’s also near locked into buying Twitter in what will go down as one of the worst deals in history. From Axios:

Musk has a legally binding obligation to buy Twitter for $44 billion. But the markets don’t believe it’s going to happen, with the price of Twitter stock implying a probability of only about 65% that the deal will go through at full price.

It won’t be easy for Musk to find the cash he needs to buy Twitter — and he can’t just walk away and pay the $1 billion breakup fee. Twitter’s board would sue, asking a court to require him to pay the agreed-upon $44 billion. A judge would almost certainly side with the board.

Oh, and he also has had the sexual harassment suit come out, which he’s oddly blamed upon the Left as if it was the Left that actually exposed itself and touched a woman’s leg.

Stupid people do stupid sh*t. That’s their job. It is fascinating to see people that truly are brilliant, and Musk is brilliant, be so fcking stupid and maintain it for over 90 days now. One almost wonders if something big is lurking in the background, if perhaps someone, or someone’s intelligence service, has something that could bring him down. Suddenly joining the MAGA movement? Suddenly buying Twitter for the express purpose of bringing MAGAs back? Odd, is it not?
