This fucking country, man. I don’t even know what else to say. God damn are we broken. So broken. I know we haven’t always been this broken. This divided and hateful. It’s truly shocking and I have no clue how it will ever get better or change. Our country cares too much about “owning the libs” to ever look at themselves and look at what we’ve all become.

At a Herschel Walker election party last night, a bunch of his MAGA supporters was caught on camera laughing and cheering as Fox News host Tucker Carlson mocked Joe Biden’s remarks about the tragic school shooting in Uvalde, Texas that cost the lives of 19 children and 3 adults. Two of those adults were teachers…people who chose low pay and difficult hours to teach our children and make them better.

As news of the massacre at Robb Elementary School was still developing, a visibly shaken and rightfully angry Biden addressed the nation from the White House to decry the violence. He literally hopped off a plane from Asia and headed straight to the White House to address the nation.

Biden’s speech was rough. It was off the cuff and raw, as it needed to be. Biden is a man who lost two children, so he was particularly suited to address the nation at this time. Just seconds into his speech, Biden said, “As a nation, we have to ask: When in God’s name are we going to stand up to the gun lobby? When in God’s name will we do what we all know in our gut needs to be done?”

He went on to say “I am sick and tired of it. We have to act. And don’t tell me we can’t have an impact on this carnage.”

“I spent my career as a senator and as Vice President working to pass commonsense gun laws. We can’t and won’t prevent every tragedy. But we know they work and have a positive impact,” Biden said.

Funny stuff, huh?

Well, to a bunch of MAGA losers attending an event for Herschel Walker, who also happens to know his way around a gun, it was just HYSTERICAL.

As soon as Biden finished his remarks, Carlson attacked him as “frail” and “confused.” Because let’s be real, this is going to mess up Tucker’s programming for a few days! He can’t be openly racist when 19 babies were just shot. Also, Tucker Carlson is just a vile asshole.

But man alive, did that crowd love Tucker’s remarks.

In a video captured by NBC News correspondent Ellison Barber, Trump supporters wearing their trusty red hats can be seen watching Tucker Carlson, and bursting out laughing when Biden’s remarks conclude and Carlson says that the “President of the United States. Frail, confused, bitterly partisan…”. Because dead children is a partisan issue apparently.

Disgusting. They were cheering. They were laughing. 19 fucking babies died yesterday, and a man who lost two of his own children was addressing the nation, attempting to soothe us and make us feel…safe? I don’t know. I am just glad Biden was there and not Trump. Biden gets it. Can you imagine a Trump speech? It would’ve mentioned the fact the shooter had a Hispanic name. He would’ve said we still have to have guns. He probably would’ve suggested arming teachers like that piece of Texas AG Ken Paxton did. And he would’ve found a way to make sure everyone knew he wasn’t his fault, and it was the fault of those dirty Dems who spied on his campaign. Trump would’ve made it about himself.

Ugh, I’m so tired.
