Million MAGA March Speaker Says They Will Not Stop Until The Handmaid’s Tale is Reality

You know, if there was some way for women to leave the planet, I would recommend it. Because now we have idiots like Vincent James to contend with. I know, I know, like me you’re probably wondering who this yokel is, but according to Raw Story, James hosts the Red Elephant podcast and apparently spoke at the Million MAGA March in November 2020.

So why is James such a big deal? Well, because he apparently idolizes Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale for all the wrong reasons. Because in a recent clip of his podcast obtained by Right Wing Watch, he envisions this dystopian for women now that Roe v. Wade has been overturned.

The ADL reports that James was one of a flank of speakers at the 2020 March in Washington, D.C., where “Attendees and speakers, including a number of extremists, expressed their support for President Trump, who continue to insist without evidence,” that the 2020 was stolen.

James, whose YouTube account was shut down because he aired inappropriate content, has now switched things up a bit from his election fraud shtick to harassing women and bragging that he’s part of the “Christian Taliban” movement. And in the video, he swings from that to fascism.

What’s that old cliche about “variety being the spice of life?”

Anyway, he claims, “This is the era of Christian nationalism,” then turns his attention to the Supreme Court.

“Christian nationalism is on the rise and people are thirsty for it, hungry for this!” he asserts. “And we are the Christian Taliban and we will not stop until The Handmaid’s Tale is a reality, and even worse than that, to be honest.”

Well, I hate to rip a page out of his Bible (if he even reads one), but the percentage of Americans who identify as Christians is shrinking — drastically. Forbes reports that while 75 percent of Americans considered themselves to be Christians in 2011, that number fell to 63 percent in 2021. I realize that facts like this are probably lost on people like James, but this my friends is a 12 percent drop.

But as my dear old dad would say, “don’t confuse them with the facts.” And that sentiment fits here because James just soldiers right on with his fantasy.

“There was this article in The Atlantic that was like [Justice Sam] Alito is on a mission to roll back the rights of women and roll back the past hundred years of rights that were given to women,” he said. “Yes, that is what we’re doing and it’s only going to get worse for you from here.”

Somehow, despite his winning personality, this fool is married. Go figure.

Here’s what he has to say below.
