It sounded like a slip of the tongue. However, it could easily have been one of those things they call a Freudian slip of the tongue.
Mary Miller is a Congressional representative from the state of Illinois facing a primary fight. We really don’t know much about her, but according to the Chicago Tribune [1]:
On Saturday, Trump comes to far west-central Illinois for a late primary campaign stop to support another incumbent, first-term U.S. Rep. Mary Miller of Oakland. And, another GOP governor candidate will be waiting in the wings. But unlike Rauner, state Sen. Darren Bailey of Xenia has been a vocal Trump supporter and has actively courted his backing.
It sounds like Trump was there primarily to support Bailey:
Pritzker “has been a terrible, terrible governor,” Trump said. “He has done such a bad job and with the lockdowns and with everything else.” Pritzker often referred to Trump during his tenure in the White House as a “racist, misogynist homophobe.”
Regardless, Mary Miller was going to speak, and overturning Roe was going to come up, obviously. The Republicans have likely figured out this is going to cause real problems in November but for the primary season, it should be praised gloriously. So praise Trump! Even though Trump had zero to do with it, unless, perhaps, Trump pushed Kennedy into retirement. Trump may have stolen one seat, Kavanaugh’s if so.
Otherwise, it was all McConnell’s shamelessness in having the rules work both ways for him, hold a seat for eight months, fill a seat in less than eight weeks. Any Republican president would install an anti-choice justice.
But as Miller went to praise Trump that “slip of the tongue” caught her. Mary Miller said she appreciated Trump’s historic win for ‘white life.’

Yes, that sounds like the right response and Twitter shared the sentiment, one that might not go over well in more moderate Illinois.
The lady who praised Hitler is just laying it all out there now. https://t.co/oCKHeKqAfm [4]

"The historic victory for white life." A Freudian slip, or saying the quiet part out loud? We know it's exactly what they are thinking. https://t.co/pLEiLoEzsT [6]

for those of you who will claim this is a slip of the tongue, miller famously said "hitler was right about one thing, whoever has the youth has the future" on the morning of january 6 – which got lost in the chaos. https://t.co/ufSNvkJKVD [10] https://t.co/SoBV9oYUPW [11]

Trump at a hate rally with Republican Congresswoman Mary Miller — who says the Roe decision is about protecting “white life.” The crowd cheers.
Again, for the zillionth time, anyone who supports this is a white supremacist. Literally. pic.twitter.com/heS2Gtip9F [13]

But I thought their slogan was “All lives matter” just a few weeks ago?
Might as well have worn their hoods in broad daylight. pic.twitter.com/m2i5qEKsPi [15]
