Herschel Walker Gets Scarier: Claims He Was FBI Agent and Nearly Shot a Man in Road Rage But a Jesus Bumper Sticker Stopped Him
Whoa.
At what point does the Georgia GOP start talking about whether there is a legal means to take Herschel Walker off the ballot as the Republican nominee? He is almost forcing their hand. At this point, would Trump even object? How many candidates for the United States Senate have videos of talks given just three years ago in which the candidate admits he was about to shoot a man in road rage but stopped when he saw a bumper sticker with Jesus on it?
We will note up front that Herschel Walker never worked for the FBI. The video of the talk is in the tweet below. The transcript is here:
“I worked for law enforcement, y’all didn’t know that either? I spent time at Quantico at the FBI training school. Y’all didn’t know I was an agent?
“I grab my gun. I say, ‘I will kill him.’ Herschel Walker, won the Heisman Trophy. ‘I’m going to kill him.’

“I got in the David, one of my many, I took off on 183. And I can still remember them voices. ‘Herschel, people are disrespecting you all the time. People are always doing stuff that you ain’t never done to nobody.’
“And all of a sudden this other voice comes, ‘Herschel, your parents didn’t raise you like that. Yes, they did. No, they didn’t.’ I thought I was losing my mind.
“As I got closer and closer to where I was going to be meeting this guy, I started to pray. I said, ‘Lord I need some help right now. I need you to help me. I’m about to do something stupid.’
“I got out of my car and I put my hand on my gun as I’m walking to this truck. Before I could see the guy, I saw the sign on the back of his truck. ‘Honk if you love Jesus.’
“And that’s what calmed me down.”
Herschel Walker falsely claims that he is an FBI agent.
It gets worse. He proceeds to tell an unhinged story about angrily grabbing a gun with the intent to kill a man. pic.twitter.com/jkttGgYDSG

Holy shit.
Twitter was shocked:
"I grabbed my gun."
"I said I will kill him."
"I thought I was losing my mind."
"I'm about to do something stupid right now."

This poor man is clearly challenged in some important ways that require professional assistance. I'm not sure the right place to find that assistance is as part of whatever health plan the US Senate offers. https://t.co/wKSFwjcnPW

Here is the video of Herschel Walker falsely claiming he is an FBI agent.
He then tells the crowd about angrily grabbing a gun, intent on killing a man while praying for God to intervene.
Mr. Walker is not ok, and he won’t represent Georgia.

When a country no longer cares if candidates are stable, minimally responsible adults and cares only about "owning" their political opponents. Mitch McConnell was in favor of this guy's nomination! https://t.co/TIJ2w2ZOSJ

It's hard to tell what's crazier – if this story is true or untrue. Either way, if Republicans vote for this guy after knowing this, they're voting for a crazy person on purpose. Not figuratively, literally. What does that tell you about Republican voters? https://t.co/8T6qlMyTYX

Honestly, what in the AF? Georgia, just because he played football there doesn't mean he has enough intellectual capacity to represent you. You know what you have to do.#FreshVotesBlue https://t.co/vF2SfEtdAQ

Apparently Herschel Walker hears voices in his head and he is still an unhinged violent guy with a gun – says he intended to kill a man.
How can Republicans support this guy? Donate money? https://t.co/NhcMxyQCaV— Brian Smith (@Quicklitning) July 19, 2022
