John Kelly is FURIOUS That Jared Kushner Accused Him of ‘Shoving’ Ivanka in the Oval Office

In a forthcoming memoir, Jared Kushner alleges that John F. Kelly, former President Donald Trump’s second chief of staff, once shoved Ivanka Trump as she was walking down a hallway inside the White House, The Washington Post reports.

Kelly denied the allegations in a statement to the Post.

“It is inconceivable that I would EVER shove a woman. Inconceivable. Never happen,” Kelly told the newspaper. “Would never intentionally do something like that. Also, don’t remember ever apologizing to her for something I didn’t do. I’d remember that.”

The Post managed to score early excerpts of Kushner’s Breaking History: A White House Memoir and Trump’s son-in-law and former White House adviser details the incident, writing that Kelly was “consistently duplicitous,” a bully, with shades of “Jekyll and Hyde.”

“One day he had just marched out of a contentious meeting in the Oval Office,” Kushner writes. “Ivanka was walking down the main hallway in the West Wing when she passed him. Unaware of his heated state of mind, she said ‘Hello chief.’ Kelly shoved her out of the way and stormed by. She wasn’t hurt, and didn’t make a big deal about the altercation, but in his rage, Kelly had shown his true character.”

Insider, referencing the Post’s story, continues with Kushner’s account, and he writes that after about an hour, Kelly met Ivanka in her West Wing office and offered a “meek apology,” which Ivanka accepted. His memoir comes out next month and it also states Ivanka Trump’s chief of staff, Julie Radford, witnessed the four-star general’s apology.

ared Kushner claims in his forthcoming memoir that former President Donald Trump’s second chief of staff, John Kelly, “shoved” Ivanka Trump in a fit of “rage” following a heated Oval Office meeting.

Insider attempted to contact an attorney for Ivanka Trump but had not heard as of press time. However, her spokeswoman confirmed Jared Kushner’s account in a statement to the Post. And Radford also told the newspaper that she remembered Kelly’s apology.

During his tenure as chief of staff, Kelly was known to not be particularly fond of the couple. During his first year in office, Kelly wanted to run a tight ship, forcing Ivanka to go through him if she wanted to talk to her father. And after he resigned, he targeted the couple with veiled insults during interviews.

I don’t know if the alleged shoving incident took place, but men shouldn’t shove women, and women shouldn’t shove men. Nobody should shove anybody. Even if they are Ivanka Trump.
