Mary Trump: ‘Prepare for Trump to Turn on Everyone … NO ONE Will Remain Standing’

Mary Trump is a national treasure.

What are the odds of having someone who is “inside” the Trump family and saw Donald Trump’s patterns from a very young age through now, having that person be a true progressive liberal, while also having a Ph.D. in clinical psychology to contextualize everything and make behavioral predictions? Obviously, we don’t know the “odds,” we only know that we have her. Mary Trump, along with Michael Cohen, are two people to whom one should always listen. Both said that Trump would never give up power without a fight. Both were right beyond that which we could imagine.

Now, Mary says that Trump is going to take everyone down with him. He will turn on anyone, from the lowliest White House staffer to Mark Meadows, White House Chief of Staff. Trump is like a person who is drowning that ends up drowning the person swimming around them, trying to save himself. As Mary Trump told Tom Harmann, via Mediaite:

THOM HARTMANN: What in your opinion? I mean, you know, your uncle probably better than anybody else. And you have the added advantage of a study in psychology, which I believe provides you with a lot of insights into human nature that many of the rest of us may lack. What should we expect if Donald Trump is indicted?

MARY TRUMP: We should expect a full court press, by him and everybody in his orbit, to change the subject, muddy the waters, deflect, project, cast blame on everybody from the the lowliest of White House aides on up. He will not take it lying down and he will engage everybody who continues to be a hanger-on to do his bidding. And thatโ€™s partially why weโ€™re here, right? I mean, Donald didnโ€™t do this by himself. He was enabled at every turn from people in his inner circle, everybody in the executive branch, and almost the entirety of the Republican Party.

Paging Senator Lindsey Graham, paging Senator Lindsey Graham…

THOM HARTMANN: So do you think heโ€™s going to be spraying his fire, as it were, at his enemies, or what he views as the people who might have thwarted his efforts? I mean, even within his own circle, like Pat Cipollone, who is not on his side on this thing, apparently. Or is he going to, is he going to turn on the people who were with him, you know, the Jim Jordans and Marjorie Taylor Greenโ€™s and whatnot, the people who essentially failed in pulling this thing off.

MARY TRUMP: I think heโ€™s going to turn on everybody. I think heโ€™s, as weโ€™ve seen, his circle is getting smaller and smaller by the controversy. So I think there will be very few people left standing.

It will be interesting when he turns on Jared. That’s quite a cross, his only love’s husband.
