Trump Says Cassidy Hutchinson is a ‘Sick Person’ and He Would NEVER Throw Dishes or Ketchup Against the Wall in New Interview

Okay this really pisses me off. Donald Trump is a dangerous man. He is a danger to this country. Yet New York Magazine did an interview with him, accompanied by a giant illustration of a smug Trump, that face the makes when he knows he’s getting away with everything. Olivia Nuzzi, a rather beautiful young blonde reporter, did the interview in which we really didn’t learn anything of substance. New York Magazine and Nuzzi just gave Trump a major platform to repeat his lies. NO ONE SHOULD DO THAT.

In this interview, Trump denied throwing a plate and dirtying up a White House wall with ketchup during the period after the election when he was claiming the election was a fraud.

Former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson testified last month before the House select committee that Trump threw his lunch at the wall, leaving Hutchinson and the White House support staff to clean up the mess. This was in December 2020, she said, and Trump was enraged because then-Attorney General Bill Barr told the Associated Press that there was no widespread voter fraud. Now, we all know Trump. When we heard this bit of news we were shocked, but not surprised. Trump often acts like a 6’2″ toddler, so his throwing dishes isn’t out of the norm for him.

The illustration that accompanies Nuzzi’s article shows the gloating Trump we have all grown to hate.

Hutchinson described seeing “ketchup dripping down the wall” and “a shattered porcelain plate on the floor” in the White House dining room, adding that it wasn’t the first time that Trump had hurled dishes and flipped tablecloths when he was upset. Flipping tablecloths like he was mobster, amazing.

But according to Trump, that never happened, because he’s just the perfect example of decorum.

Trump told Nuzzi, “Never. Never. Not my thing. And I never did it anywhere else, either. And I never did what she said with the Secret Service. She went too far. Look, they’re made up stories. She made up these stories. They’re lies. And most people understand that. I think she’s a sick person.”

Trump was referring to another part of Hutchinson’s explosive testimony during the committee’s sixth public hearing, when she recalled hearing secondhand that Trump had lunged at a Secret Service agent in a limousine, demanding to be taken the Capitol on January 6 after his speech at the Ellipse.

Trump, in a rapid-fire slew of posts on his social media platform Truth Social, tried to deny several parts of Hutchinson’s under-oath testimony immediately after the June 28 hearing. He denied both the plate-throwing and the Secret Service incidents.

And of course he denied throwing dishes which is surprising, his supporters really loved that part:

Hutchinson, a former aide to ex-White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, worked closely with Trump’s inner circle. Along with revealing more details of Trump’s behavior in the aftermath of the 2020 election, Hutchinson also testified that at least nine Republicans sought preemptive pardons from Trump.

Currently on Twitter many are laughing about the article, especially the opening paragraph, which demonstrates exactly why major magazines aand newspapers shouldn’t be giving him large a large outlet to air his grievances:

But there are also people who are pissed, and rightfully so:

And don’t get me wrong, Nuzzi can be very good. This question she asked Trump back in April 2020 was a good one. But he’s not the president anymore. He’s not even a candidate yet.
